Arrival Story:
Shadow was originally rescued by my Uncle, who found her in a warehouse where he worked. She was very ill at the time, and couldn't even walk properly. She had a sibling, but he or she was more fit than her, and escaped. They were going to put her to sleep, but my Uncle kept her. Unfortunately, the rest of his family did not like the idea of keeping a cat, and he was also allergic to her. She eventually came to us, where she gradually calmed down and regained her health. To this day she’s a wonderful cat. Other than her poor hearing (the exact cause we're not sure of; we can only assume it had something to do with her sickness as a kitten), you’d never know she had such a traumatic childhood. ;)
