Yesterday, my good furriend Jack Kittedy and his brothers Bobby and Teddy hosted a bachelor pawty for me! What a wild time!
I couldn't get over how many kitties and pups attended! We had tons of food, bags of catnip, bones for the dogs, and games. We played Wii Bowling, badminton, and frisbee. The best part was the great conversations. It was nice for my Catster and Dogster pals to get together especially since some were meeting for the first time.
The only thing missing was my beloved Athena. I'm sure she was busy at the Bridge. I think she does some sort of work there welcoming new pets.
Our wedding is next week (Sunday Nov 22nd) and I'm so very excited! I have to admit I'm a bit nervous, too, but I guess that's to be expected. Just this morning I took a long bath and forgot I did that and took another one! Bathing (minus water) is comforting. I keep trying to remember if I've thought of everything.... We've booked the church and the community center, Chloe has offered to play the music, Nelly Bell May is handling the flowers, I think Bizkit is taking care of the food, I've got my tux and tuxes for Jack, Bobby, and Teddy, I have casual clothing for the honey moon... What am I missing????? *scratches his head*
Well, maybe if I take a nap, it will come to me in a dream... *curls up on the bed and goes to sleep*
I was tagged by my good friend Ishtar. I must now write 5 things for which I am thankful. There are many more than 5 and these are not in any particular order.
1. A home that's cool in the summer and warm in the winter where I have many safe and comfortable places to sleep, lots of toys, and plenty of good food.
2. Meowmy and Daddy who love me very much (they are ok, too, even though Meowmy takes me to the v-e-t AT LEAST once per year).
3. SHRIMP!!!! (Meowmy has put me on on a bit of a diet - that means less shrimp because she thinks I"m getting fat. I did go from 15 to 17 pounds since I've been on Prozac.)
4. There are no dogs or cats who live here. I am King of my Castle.
5. All my friends on Catster and especially my loving fiancee, Athena (Miss you Sweet Baby).
Here's a reminder: My bachelor pawty is this Saturday and our wedding is on Nov 22. Both will take place at Purrs ~ N ~ Woofs Homestead Village. Please join us! Girls can attend the bachelor pawty or go out with Athena for a girl's night out.
