Life at Rainbow Bridge, by Toby.

Gone three years on 11th April 2007

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground,
But it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven
That's what my Grandpa told me,
He said , "Pets toss them down"
Oh, how I loved that story.

He said, "When a pet misses you
He tosses a penny down,
Sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown."

So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue,
It may be a penny from heaven
That your pet has tossed to you.

I can see that meowmie is smiling today because my new diary is diary of the day, but she also has tears in her eyes cos she misses us all and it is Smudges birthday today, so she is on the birthday stroll all day. I'm off now to romp and play some more. Hope you enjoy reading my diary, sorry that there is not more of it to read. Bye, Toby, PURR,PURR,

I didn't want to go.

Hi, My name is Toby, I have been here at Rainbow Bridge for fifeteen months. I didn't want to leave my meowmie, but my heart could not take any more struggling to breath. I didn't want meowmie to see me go, so I went quietly in my sleep. when I got here there were many friends to meet me and show me around. Arri was first, I remembered him, he went to the bridge a year before I did, he introduced me to Smokey, Smudge and Pooh who had all beeen with meowmie before I choose her to live with, they are all really nice, all we do all day and night is eat our favourite food (in my case that is fresh cooked chicken) roll around in the catnip beds, and chase each other around the meadows. We are all fit and well again, no one hurts and no one fights. All in all it's a great place to be but I still miss my meowmie and I know she misses us all becouse every night, when she goes to bed she says so, and sometimes we can see her and hear her crying, but she knows we are happy and in a better place even if we do miss her.LOVE YOU MEOWMIE.
