I have been at the beautiful rainbow bridge for one whole year.
It doesn't seem like it though, time stands still here and it seems like I arrived only yesterday.
I've made a lot of new friends and learnt a new skill that enables me to help other bridge kittys and their pawrents. I am a wing maker, So if any of you angel kittys out there still haven't got your wings just let me know.
I know my mum misses me terribly as she misses all of her bridge kittys, but she knows that we are all happy and healthy and watching over her and our brothers and sisters that are still on earth.
Mum lit a candle in my memory today
If any-cat reading this would like to light one too I would be very honoured and it would make my mum very happy.
Mum found this verse on-line and loved it so she's put it here for all to read.
And the feline spirit was asked,
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.
Are you coming then? .
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.
But don't they understand?
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined. For all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is....forever and ever and ever.
Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.
Thank you for reading my diary today.
Sorry I missed your Diary Saturday....one year. My mom's dog, Liberty, who was mine too for the first 4 years since we lived together before I FINALLY moved out, will be gone 1 year Nov. 2. She was 11. That was the beginning of a year that was about to get worse. Ava was diagnosed with mammary cancer a few weeks later...If you get time, you could go to my page and read Andy's diary callled What a year....
I can't believe at this time last year my life was purrfect...I still cry for her everyday. Thanks, Willow for making such pretty pictures of her.
I missed your diary on Sat., too, Willow, and wanted to add my purrs to you for your Bridge anniversary. I know your family still misses you very much ... and you've been a good furriend to me.
