TBL is a very BAD GIRL! *searches for waterbottle*

She hasn't helped me write a journal entry in fourever! Don't worry, friends. I'll claw her eyes out later.

So, in the past several months, I have gotten a sister - Aviendha. She is mean and snotty, but sometimes she licks my ears, and that's all right. And she fights with all of The Big Lady's foster cats, so that's pretty funny, and I enjoy that a lot. heh heh heh! Sometimes she tries to take my shelf on the cat tree, or act like she's TBL's favorite...then I have to bite her butt and put her in her place. But she's ok.

Then, I got a brother - Behemoth. He's a rotten little kitten!! *spit spit hiss!* TBL's friend brought over a cage with four, tiny, whimpery furry things in it one night. TBL woke up every three hours to feed the little lumps cat milk from a bottle and a syringe...and do you think *I* got any?!? NO!! Anyway, the next day her friend came back and got them, and that was good. But two weeks later, this gray and white spotted KITTEN came back!!! It's ok, though, because he's fun to wrestle with and play NASCAR with. When I catch him, I can pin him down and lick his face and ears to my hearts content. He hates that. He heh heh! That pleases me, too.

Now, I hear rumor of ANOTHER darn cat coming home!! And this ones' OLD, and SKINNY!! All I can say is, one more set of ears to lick!

And that's all for now!

Furless people are weird!

The Big Lady took me to the vet's office again this weekend...man, I hate that. I mean yes, having all those hottie, furless babes ooh-ing and ahh-ing over me is cool. But when they break out the thermomator and stick it you-know-where that is so *not* cool!!!! Not only that, but they stick me with needles and take blood from me...dude. I hate all of that. I do get cat milk afterwards, though, which is excellent!!

This time TBL was all excited because I was leukemia negative...whatever that means. For me, it means she's been smiling, petting me a lot, giving me extra treats and looking at lots of kitty pictures on the web. Maybe I could test negative more often!

Someone must die.

OMG, this FURLESS WOMAN!

She put this thing around my neck with a shiny gold coin like thing hanging off of it! Did I ask for accessories??? I don't know what it is...some kind of toy? I keep trying to play with it, but it's hard to reach! It's highly annoying, so everyone in the house gets a taste of my claws this morning.

I am feeling SO Much better - I'm running around the house like I own the place again. The Big Lady moved my stuff around, so all my toys are like new. She bought fabric to make me some kind of cat bed, and the fabric is SO soft and fuzzy!!! And bright red, so TBL says it will make a good backdrop for me in pictures...cool.

My latest tor...err...game is to keep TBL up ALL NIGHT LONG by jumping up when she least expects it and grooming her eyes, nose, mouth and ears. I also like to knead, claws extended, while I'm doing this, and I make sure they are VERY slobbery grooming kisses. Hee hee hee! She pulls me off and puts me on the floor, rolls over like she thinks I'm going to leave her alone, and BOOM - I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-aaaaaaaack! She gets so annoyed, and in the mornings she's all blurry eyed. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

Dammit, this gold thing on my neck is flashing in the sunlight...gotta run!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl.

Yesterday, The Big Lady packed Calleigh and I up in our carrier, and took us for a ride. I don't particularly care for being caged, so I didn't like that very much at all. She took us to a place that smelled like lots of different animals, where there were lots of pretty women. I like pretty women! Well, I used to. Anyway.

We got to look around this little room while TBL talked to one of the women about us. TBL was very proud of us, and enjoyed our looking around playing. She played with us, and petted us, and made us comfortable. She seemed happy - she was talking about wanting to get everything routine taken care of, getting Calleigh a pedicure, and making sure all her ducks were in a row so she'd be clear to adopt a Sigh-uh-meez, whatever that is. The pretty lady asked if she could leave us there a while and come back, and she said she'd come back this afternoon. She gave us kisses and headrubs, and left us with the lady.

The pretty ladies swarmed on me - apparently, they like men with loud voices and curly cue tails. The poked and prodded at me, put things in my derrier and stuck me with needles. I cried and cried...I didn't understand what they were doing, or why. After a while they tucked me into a cage with a nice soft blankey, and I could hear Calleigh going through the same thing. I can only imagine how SHE reacted to all that, with her sharp claws she's not afraid to use. Heh heh heh - all I could think was "Give 'em hell, Calleigh!".

Anyway, later TBL came back, and they took me to her - I wasn't happy, tho, because she put me back in the carrier and made me take another car ride. I was so sore from all the poking, and grumpy from people handling me. I cried all the way home. And Calleigh wasn't with us! Usually, that wouldn't bother me, but TBL kept sniffling and her eyes were all red...I get the feeling something's seriously wrong. When we got home, TBL threw away all my toys, even the dangling feather and ribbon toy Calleigh and I love so much!!! *righteous indignation* She replaced them with new ones, but that was NOT the point. She cleaned out the litter boxes, and took my food bowl away and put it in a noisy box. She gave me some wet food, that made up for it a little bit. I didn't eat it all, I just went and curled up on the grey blanket.

Something really doesn't feel good, tho, and I've been miserable since then. Every so often I move around, then I fall back asleep. When TBL picked me up so she could hold me while I slept, I meowed and meowed like she'd bitten me, and once she sat down, I jumped off and went back to my blanket. She offered me milk and a creamsicle and even my favorite treats today, but to no avail. I did manage to get up and use the litterbox, but that's it. I'm hurting, I'm still grumpy, I don't know where Calleigh is or why all my toys got replaced or why everyone is sad, and I don't want to deal with anyone or anything. TBL didn't even force my worming medicine on me last night. Good idea, TBL - I so would have bitten you.

So that was my night, in a nut shell. The doctor said I'm in really good health, and all my tests are clear. She said if they're clear in another three months when I get spayed, she'll be confident I dodged the bullet, whatever that means. To me, that just means I'm going back to that place to do all this again...and that does NOT make me a happy kitty. So keep me in your prayers - but not in your arms. I don't feel well.

TBL smooshed Calleigh in the front door!

You know, I would really like to pretend I don't like that little orange furball. She has sharp claws, she never EVER calms down, and she sometimes steals my spotlight. But the truth is, I just love Calleigh. I even let her dominate the house sometimes. She's a good cuddle partner, she needs someone to lick/bite her ears regularly, and we have so much fun chasing each other around the house.

Which is why I was PETRIFIED when The Big Lady hurt her this morning.

TBL was getting ready for work - we know when this is happening, because she stands in the bathroom scrubbing the inside of her mouth with mint flavored stuff and twisting a metal rod in her hair, and we get to play in the water in the sink. After she was done getting ready, she opened the doors to the rooms the Little Furless Ones sleep in, so we'd have more space to play. Calleigh and I ran into the golden room, and began poking around. TBL came in, stroked and kissed each of us, and then went downstairs to go.

I don't know how many times I've told Calleigh we're not allowed outside - first of all, Spirit could eat her in one crunch, and second of all there's no food or water or litter box! But she's just little, she never listens. So we snuck up behind TBL as she opened the door, and just as TBL stepped out, Calleigh made a break for it...except, TBL didn't know we were there. She swung the door closed...and Calleigh was still in it. I can still hear her crying. It was aweful.

TBL quickly caught her, and brought her inside. TBL was crying, sobbing, as she put Calleigh down to make sure she could walk and everything ok. When Calleigh ran and hid under a table, terrified, I thought TBL's heart was going to break. TBL ran into the kitchen, and with trembling hands got a tablespoon full of vanilla ice cream. She ran over to Calleigh's spot, and gave it to her...I think she was trying to make sure Calleigh knew she was sorry. TBL was feeling Calleigh's ribs and back, applying pressure all over, and Calleigh didn't cry anymore. She ate the ice cream happily. Having somewhat convinced herself Calleigh was fine, TBL sat down and cried.

Personally, I thought all of TBL's efforts were really special. After all, someone slammed my poor tail in a door when I was a tiny baby, leaving it permanently curled up, and no one apologized to me afterwards! So I didn't even try to hog Calleigh's ice cream - I rubbed against TBL's legs and face and meowed gently at her so she'd know it was ok. It's so sad when the furless ones cry!!!

I'm keeping a close eye on Calleigh for TBL today. I'll make her rest, and stay curled up next to her, and talk to her so she knows it was an accident and no one meant to hurt her. I'll also play with her a little, so I can make sure she's ok, and to distract her from thinking about it. Hopefully by the time TBL comes home tonight, Calleigh will be back to herself. If not, I'm sure TBL's TLC will heal her up in NO TIME!

PS ~ I know it sounds really sweet that I wasn't jealous of Calleigh's ice cream, but the reality is that TBL let me lick her cereal bowl this morning while Calleigh was eating. I'd already had a treat! ^..^

I am SO MAD at The Big Lady - now that Calleigh is done taking medicine, she's turned on *me*!! I do not like pink, bubblegum flavored medicine (why don't they make it chicken flavored, for heaven's sake?!? We're not *dogs*!), and I ESPECIALLY do not like having anything squirted into my mouth. And I *E*S*P*E*C*A*L*L*Y* do not like being held, against my will, while having vile, bubble gum flavored medicine squirted into my mouth!!!!!!!!!! I have been glaring at her for two days. If I really need that stuff, she better find ANOTHER way to get it into me! Next time she squirts something in my mouth, she's gonna loose an eye.

In other news, the orange ball of fur is feeling MUCH better, and has now become a fun play partner! We chase each other all over the house, and TBL no longer sprays us with water when we're wrestling, because it's obvious we're just playing. My favorite game is when Calleigh sits on top of our kitty house and I stand on the floor under her, then POUNCE up like a jumping jack, pat her face with my paws (no claws), and then crouch back down to the floor. Her favorite game is to lay in my favorite spot (the top of the cable box) and bat at me (with claws!) when I try to get in there and bully her off.

Despite these crazy antics, we do like each other a lot. We spent lots of time sleeping, cuddled together, on the ottoman and chair this weekend. I think TBL liked that, even if she didn't like the constant evil eye from me, so let that be her mother's day present...she's certainly not getting any snuggles from me! *aggitated tail whips*

Also, the white cat TBL calls "Spirit" was outside again last night. TBL was watching her, then all of a sudden she gasped, got this goofy grin, and looked very, very excited. I don't know what it was all about, but later I heard her asking The Big Man if they could put a shelter with a blanket in it on the front porch. He was reluctant, and then she started talking about she had never seen little kittens before. WHAT?!!? *confuzzled look* She's seen Calleigh and I, right? And Spirit CERTAINLY isn't a kitten! We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Personally, I don't care for Spirit. I'd just as soon she not sit on our porch, because I always hiss at her. And she won't let TBL come NEAR her...I don't know why TBL likes her so much. *shrugs*

Oh, well! Time to go cuddle TBM...he's not feeling well. Besides, it makes TBL jealous. *wicked grin*

OMG!

That...that...FURLESS WOMAN...gave me a BATH last night!! *splutters with indignation* I got the tiniest little bit of poo on my foot and tail, and she said that was it, she'd had it, I needed a bath. A BATH, people! Like, with water! And shampoo!! And...ew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to top it all off, it was BABY shampoo! Now, I smell like one of the mini-furless ones!

She gave me some of Calleigh's special food to eat. I thought it was a little strange that she made me eat in the sink, but whatever...that stuff is GOOD! I didn't realize what was happening until my butt and legs were COMPLETELY soaked. Then she lathered me up, rinsed me off, and wrapped me in a big towel. Like, I REALLY wanted her HOLDING ME!!! *vicious, angry tail swipes* Then, she really stepped over the bounds...she blow dried me! Is she *insane*?!? Ok, so the air wasn't hot, and it wasn't loud, and I wasn't shivering by the time it was over, but honest to GOODNESS...I just wanted to go lick myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's where the story gets good. *wicked grin* After I was clean, it was the orange furball's turn!!! She didn't even have poo on her, The Big Lady just did it for good measure, and to remove any residual "flea dirt", whatever that may be, and the smell of that awful place she was at before she came here. Calleigh looks funny when she's all wet - she's just a great big HUGE belly with ittle bitty legs. And MAN, does she cry! Hee hee hee! She doesn't like the hair dryer, either. To add insult to injury, she had to have her face wiped off with a wet rag, too! She had medicine all over it. It was GREAT!

After it was finally over, TBL gave us each a little bite of ice cream, and we got to play together all night. We even both went to bed with TBL and TBM (we let them sleep in the same bed, just for a trial run)! But when I woke up in the middle of the night for my snack and potty break, I realized Calleigh was there, pounced on her, and we started howling and fighting. TBL made me go downstairs with her, and she didn't look too happy. That's what she gets for giving me a bath!

I've just discovered TBL left the door to Calleigh's room open - woo-hoo! Torture time!!!

*yawn*

Last night, The Big Lady let me and Calleigh out at the same time...that little ball of fluff has been honing her skills! Some of her ear bites are excellent, although I still outweigh her so I always win the wrestling tumbles, and I'm much better at sneak attacks like rear leg bites.

By night time, TBL was tired of listening to us tussle...mostly Calleigh, because she cries like a big baby all the time! So Calleigh went to bed with The Big Man, and I stayed on the couch and slept with TBL again. I licked and chewed on her face all night, just to reward her for finally letting me at the orange fur toy. >;o) She called me a deviant.

This morning, TBL seems to have decided that it's time for Calleigh to get out and about, and for me to take a rest...she's trapped me in her bedroom!!! *shock* I do NOT like being trapped, and I sit at the door and cry for hours. She better let me out, or I'm going to chew every computer wire up. On the bright side, my fishie blanket is in here....YAY, I win!! And Calleigh's stuffed kittens. And of course, this is the PURRRRfect opportunity to make a big mess of her litterbox...wow. TBL is so nice to me.

I hear I'm supposed to get shots this week...I don't know what that is, but TBL looked all guilty when she talked about it, and TBM kind of giggled with an evil glint in his eye. I don't know what's up, but I intend to get to the bottom of it.

OOOOO, TBL is typing away in her underwear...time to climb her hip with my claws and mess up her email!! Gotta run!

Expecting a kitten to act like a cat

Well, it turns out the little orange furball is sick, which is why The Big Lady gave her my fishie blanket. She has to take a bunch of yucky medicine a couple times a day, and I can hear her mewing from the hall way (I'm still not allowed in her room!). I feel bad for her and everything but...at least it's not ME taking bunches of yucky medicine! And her meowls of displeasure give me a secret thrill. >:o) That's what she gets for needing my fishie blanket. Stupid girls.

TBL says if I don't stop sneezing, I'll be taking that nasty pink medicine too. Humph! So she *thinks*! I'd bite her fingers off if she tried to make me take that stuff.

This weekend was a bit trying, what with Calleigh getting all the attention and the tons of tiny furless people running around. They stole my kitten toy!! *righteous indignation!* In retribution, I decided to go bonkers yesterday. I'd pretend to be affectionate and sweet, and then bite whomever was petting me and jump on them, claws and legs outstretched for a full body wrestle!!! Calleigh must have been feeling better, because The Big Man said she was doing the same thing all night long! My opinion is she's tired of being cooped up in that room. I mean, come ON...I may wrestle and bite her, and insist on using her litterbox, and try to eat her food...but at least we have FUN! The furless never take my opinion into account....dummies.

TBL finally figured out what I have been so annoyed about when she couldn't find my stuffed kitten this morning. She went and fished it out of one of the tiny furless ones room, and left it in my bed this morning. I licked her hand. You have to reward them when they do good...that's the key to furless training.

In other news, I've discovered some other furry people who seem to think nothing of spending time on our front pourch! TBL calls one Spirit - he's sleek and all white, with a tail that flairs like the legs on her yoga pants. He always has three of four white cats around him, too, but they won't come up to my house. One looks like Calleigh only WAY bigger - TBL calls him Leo. He's not afraid of anything!! The other is black like me, only with white on his chin, belly and pays. TBL calls him Mistopholes. TBL thinks they're visiting because of the food she leaves out, but the truth is they're all trying to get the birds that are nesting in the pourch roof. Which isn't that bright, because if ANYONE has dibs on those birds it's ME! I like to sit in the window and watch them try to catch the birds, who just ignore them completely. Hee hee hee!!! Meanwhile, I have my eye on those birds, and all their movements...I'll get them.

Also, I had ice cream this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TBL needs to pick up her bowls faster if she doesn't want my fur all covered in sticky stuff.

Oooo! My feather toy!! GTG.

Kitten Escapades

Yesterday, The Big Lady stood in a small closet thing with water pouring all over her!! I tried to rescue her by leaping onto a towel that was hanging by the entry way, but then I started to fall and she caught me and her hands were all wet, and...and....ew ew ew!!!!!!!!!!! I was *wet*. >.< What an unpleasant way to start the day. I really don't know why the furless do the things they do.

TBL also got really into making sure Calleigh and I bonded by having us play together and trying to use distraction methods when I was being too rough. The down side was that I got put into time out - TWICE - and that she was she was holding that stupid orange ball of fur and not me - AGAIN! The upside was lots of wax paper balls to chase across the kitchen floor!!!!!!!!!!!! I think TBL thought if she wore me out, I'd leave Calleigh alone. LOL!!! Silly lady. Being around Calleigh just makes me more hyper - I could go for DAYS.

Ah, well...time to rest so I can be good and rascally tonight!

ETA: SHE HAS MY FISHIE BLANKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *righteous indignation to the nth degree!!* TBL gave Calleigh my fishie blanket this morning, and I got her stupid fish towel in return! OMG! This is outrageous!!! I'll tell ya, I can't WAIT till the door opens to the safe room tonight...I am SO getting my blanket back! And TBL better watch out, because her eyelashes will feel the wrath of my claws tonight!
