Arrival Story:
Ollie was brought in to the rescue where I worked, he was a week old and didnt know how to feed off its mother, he was very small and weak and I hand reared him.

Ollie is very small for his age but this does hinder him at all. He has so much energy and loves cuddles. He lives with his 9 adoptive feline brothers and sisters who are all older than him. They all love him and take it in turns to play with him or wash him.

Mom was working late this eve, when she got home dad asked her to have a look at me as I was in the back of a cupboard. She got me out and I was all limp, snotty and fighting to breath, she checked my membranes which were almost white and she checked me for dehydration, which I was. I was wrapped in a blanket and rushed out to the car for a 20min drive to the emergency vets as our usual vet dosnt do out of hours. I got checked over and I started mouth breathing, both mom and the vet thought I was going to leave for the bridge, but i didnt.
I have a respiratory infection and and also a very bad heart murmur. Mom told them to do what ever was needed, so they tried to take some blood but my circulation isnt very good and they only got a small amount, it was enough to do tests. They put me in an oxygen cubicle, its hard for them to tell if I am still consious or not, I am barely. Mom and dad waited for the tests to come through which didnt really point to one thing, it just showed that I am extremly poorly. The vet said the next thing to do was xrays, mom said yes. Mom annd dad wanted to wait but the vet said there was no point at his stage and he would phone with the results, so at 11.50pm mom and dad left me to go home and try to get some sleep.
Ollies mom here...The vet phone at about 12 am, ollie has some fluid and white patches on one side of his lungs, the vets is not sure if its tumours, phnemonia or something else. Ollie stuggles to breathe when he is moved, he has been given antibiotics and some medication to try and shift the fluid. He is too poorly at the moment to give him heart medication aswell.
It is now done to Ollie to fight, which know he will as he has fought all his life with brain damage, I am also hopeing for a miricle to help him fight for his life. The vet will be phoneing about 7am if nothing happens before then.
