Arrival Story:
Raette bought me from a pet store while Brandon and Katie were away in North Dakota. I was so adorable, she just couldn't resist me, and she gave me to Brandon.
Bio:
I was neutered too late, so I was still trying to mate with the female cats after I was neutered and just generally terrorizing them, not to mention I kept going to the bathroom in the wrong places in the house. The Schafers gave me and one of the females, Ooh, away to a guy who lived on a farm (Ooh was going to the bathroom in the wrong places, and the guy needed good mousers because his cats weren't doing their job). We stayed there for a while, then both of us left that place and headed home. This is how part of our journey went:
Ooh (a fat cat): We're lost, aren't we?
Me: No, we're not! I know exactly where we are!
Ooh: Yeah right! I,'m going to go ask that nice doggy over there for directions!
Coyote (the "nice doggie"): Yummy!
About two weeks later, I came home at about 2:30 am. I've been a perfect cat ever since--aside from accidentally trying to play with one of the other cats when they don't want to be played with. I'm the top dog here, and the real dog knows it. If a stray dog comes into the yard, Blair (the dog) will bark at it bravely and hide like a coward; I will arch my back, fluff up my fur, and just glare at the dog, who will promptly run away. I've got huge feet and a huge tail--when I fluff up the fur on my tail, Katie says it looks like a raccoon's tail! But I've been told I'm really sweet and cuddly, too, and I love the treats Katie bribes me to--I mean, uses to train me.

Ally and Polly, thank you for the rosettes! They're as pretty as you two girls! *purr*
I LOVE being scratched behind the ears. Katie picks me up, puts me on her lap, and I start to try to get away, but then she starts scratching behind my ears... Next thing you know, I'm curled up on her lap, moving my head around so she can find the best spots to scratch, and I'm purring and kneading her knees. I'm a big love bug. *purr*

Ok, I love doors. They're so cool! If I'm on the inside, I'm in! And then I get a human to open the door for me...and I go through...and I'm on the outside! It's so cool! And there's food on both sides! Yeah, 'cause see, on the inside there's the dry cat food and sometimes treats or people food! And on the outside, there are squirrels and birds and dogs to chase! It's so fun! I can't decide which side I like, so I keep going in and out. It annoys humans, and I don't know why, but maybe they just don't see the magic in doors.
