Retirement years with Uncle Pat!

Dearest Catsters~a brief update fur you!

I'm chillaxin' with my Uncle Pat & toy fox terrier brother Truman. Life is more relaxed. We have a pond, a parakeet, and friendly neighborhood kitties!

Sorry for the long hiatus once again! So much has been going on....Jess has been very busy with everything and is just now getting back to the things she enjoys! Dear friends on Catster and Dogster,


We wanted to let you know that we have been downsizing lately and have moved from our own home into Uncle Rocky's home, due to the economic down turn. (You may have read about our move in previous entries!) We have been selling, donating and tossing most of our possessions. Many expenses have been cut. We just wanted to inform our friends that we will not be renewing Dogster & Catster Plus as we are cutting back on expenses. We certainly enjoy the perks of Plus but we must be realistic in our spending.

We will continue to be active members of Dogster & Catster and look forward to the same fun we have enjoyed for several years now!

Daily Diary Pick!

Me-wow!

Thanks Catster for making me a Daily Diary Pick today! I was just about to make another entry about how well I have adjusted to my new home! New pics coming soon!

In fact I am so comfortable in my new home that I have no problem making too much noise, clawing at furniture and carpeting and keeping Jess up all night while I wail and use my kitty box loudly. I also have no issue inciting a wrestle-play-match with Truman in a split second.

I enjoy the bathroom as it has been newly panted semi gloss white, I enter and let out a huge M-E-O-W! The whole house shakes! MOL!

I enjoy looking out the huge windows and mini-blinds, the sound of nature excites me.

I am happy to report that I have been here 1 week today and I have finally adjusted! No more worries for Jess and Mom and Max.

I want to thank my friends for the thoughtful comments & gifts as they are very much appreciated!

Meowving forward!

Good evening Catsters!

Today was the big move! We moved a little bit away from our current home. Meow! I was so upset in my crate in the car that I was meowing almost the whole time. Jess, Mom and Max were all comforting me. New surroundings are always scary for me as I have lived in the same home for 10 yrs straight now! I am also not an outdoor kitty so the sight of blues skies, whirring cars and strange scents set me off! Through the car window, not from experience being outside!

(I will not be an outdoor kitty by any means! Don't worry!)

Once I arrived at the pumpkin colored home I was taken directly up to my room. A fresh blue and grey kitty box with new litter, a new matching food/water dish filled with the essentials. I'm still a bit shy...So far I most enjoy hanging out under Jess's bed. She has bedding that reads 'PEACE' on it, so I think I like the sentiment. Truman seems so use to this place, I'm sure with time I will learn more and relax.

Change can be a scary thing, but with love and care and thoughtful planning it all works out.

I'll give you new pictures and updates as soon as something fun happens! Or as soon as I show my face long enough for a picture!
