Arrival Story:
After getting married, we knew that we wanted to get another cat to be a companion for my first baby. We had done research on different breeds and had narrowed it down to either a Bengal or an Ocicat. It just so happened that the vet's office where we took Kosmo had the name of a reputable Ocicat breeder...they took care of all the medical needs of their cats. So we went out to the house to meet the breeders and the newest litter of kittens. When we went into the back bathroom we knew we were smitten. These little kittens with the HUGE ears were just so cute...and their larger counterparts were so actively curious and funny and smart...we knew we had to bring one home when it was ready. Problem was; we both had favorites. Mine was the sweet little girl kitten that kept running her claws through my hair and my husband's was the "mistake" of the litter. A chocolate classic that would never be able to be bred or shown due to stripes instead of the optimal spots. Needless to say we ended up bringing both of them home...and life has not been boring since. ;)

Bio:
Rigel wants to BE his big brother Kosmo. He will follow him around like the stereotypical tagalong little brother. His registered name was Rascal and he also tends to live up to that name; given any length of time alone, he will have all of our kitchen cabinet doors open and all the drawers pushed out. No, it's not the ghosts from "The Sixth Sense", and no we haven't been robbed...it's just the cat. ;)
