Arrival Story:
I had lost my beloved Russian Blue of 16 years and was helping out at the local cat shelter - Cat Welfare. I was looking into the cages and suddenly this little grey head popped up at the back of the cage where he had been sleeping. He trotted over the front of the cage, laid down on his side and extended his paw under the door to pat me on the cheek. I was a goner.
Bio:
Petie is really Uncle Petie as he mothers all the Russian Blues that live with us and those that come to stay for a little while. He lost his first best friend who was close to his age. Cosmo was a sweet little Russian Blue kitten who died of FIP at the age of 7 months. Pete, although friendly with all the other cats, will not play with anyone like he did with Cosmo. The photo to the left is of Petie and Cosmo under the Christmas tree.
