Arrival Story:
Apollo and his sister were originally adopted by my brother and his wife (now ex), from the Humane Society. They moved to Hawaii when the cats were about 2 years old. We took the cats temporarily because they didn't want the cats to have to travel or go through quarantine. After 9 months or so, they returned, and the cats went back to them. However, shortly thereafter, they got divorced, and the ex could not take the cats, and my brother was too beside himself to give the cats the care they needed. So we (my boyfriend and I) took the cats back. That was over 4 years ago, and we have had them ever since. We love these cats like kids.

Apollo is a big boy and often whiney. He will poke at the chair, couch, bed or wherever we happen to be, to get our attention. Not that he needs anything, he just wants attention. We used to have a problem with him peeing on rugs, in big plants, and in the basement, but he is much better now that we use 3 litter boxes. He is very fussy about a clean litter box. He also loves to go outside in the summer. For the most part, he is a good boy and very friendly.
