Moving again!

Now this will be the 4th time I have had to move in the past 2 years. This is getting ridiculous, my only hope is that they do not move all 4 of us cats at the same time again. I do not think I can take Eve's whining for very long again, because she can get loud and give you a headache. Maybe if I am lucky Mom will move me first! That way I can find my own space first. But in the long run my cattitude is WHATEVER!

My Birthday!

It is almost midnight here and that means it is almost my birthday, big deal. I almost hope that the humans that live in this house with me let it slide and not make a big deal out of it. The female human gave out catnip tonight while the lower life forms were outside with the male human. To be honest humans are a lower life form but I tolerate them and humor them into thinking that they are my equal. I say WHATEVER, just make sure to feed me on TIME!!!!!

My Cat name has been revealed!

Hi,

I just wanted you all to know that I have revealed my Cat name, not a stupid name those humans who live in my house calls me. My name is SPIKE!!! Cupid sounds like a name for a wussy, that I am not. I do not like being called that other name but if coming when called by it means I get food I tolerate it. I say WHATEVER! I know my true name.

Sun bathing

I have taken up a new habit, I like to sunbathe, so Mom being the nice lady that she is put a footstool in front of the door that I like to sunbathe in so that I might be more comfortable. But those other cats seem to like it there too so I have found another sunny spot on top of the clothes dryer. Mom put a towel for me there and I just snuggle down into it. At least on top of the dryer the lower life forms can not bother me. WHATEVER!!!

My thoughts on the new house

Meow,

I tricked that kid into getting off the computer so that I might write a note about my thoughts about this new house. I like it better because it was not moving into some other cats home, we all were brought here at the same time, man was that a noisy ride, 150 miles with the kids meowing all the way. They need to grow up! It was a Sunday so that meant that we were not headed toward the Vet, so I just chilled out and relaxed as best I could. Eve was meowing and Mom said it sounded like she was saying OW! All I know is she was seated next to me and I had a headache by the time we got here. Izzy was a little better, he only meowed once in awhile, I think he was just complaining because he had the sunny side of the car. Tigger was on the other side of Eve and kept meowing softly trying to tell Eve to be quiet. Whatever! I have declared Mom's den as my room in this house. Mom has made me start eating with the other cats, I really do not like that but I am dealing. She does let me have a chance at the moist cat food before she lets the kids out of the basement in the morning, I do like that, and she puts out dry for me after the kids go to bed at night. What I really do not understand is why we had to bring the lower life forms (the dogs) with us. WHATEVER!!!!

My life

Well the other cats here have started to back off and not bother me as much. I have my places that I call my own and get very upset when they come into my space! I just hiss and growl at them and most of the time they back off. I have lost some weight since I have been here, I think it is because the other cats eat my food when I am not looking. After Mom puts them to bed in the basement at night she fills my food dish for me! If I ask nicely during the day she will give me some extra food. The lower life forms that live here (dogs) know better than to mess with me!

I am so smart!

My human Daddy/Brother, I'm still not sure which he is, left very early Friday morning. My human Mom says he is on something called a business trip. When she got back from taking him away, she took me out of the closet and closed the door, saying I need to socialize with the other cats as it has been 2 weeks that I have lived here now. I quickly figured out I could open the sliding closet door and get back in, hehehe. She did not realize that I did it so I was left alone for a long time. She has said that I do not get food in the closet anymore and that if I want to eat I have to come out of the closet, oh well, at least there is a reward in it for me! What she doesn't really know is that I spend all night outside of the closet because she puts the other cats into the basement at night where their beds are. I am getting braver at feeding time, I come out and demand to be fed! I sometimes even leave the room where my closet is if Mom is not in that room.

Hello, Catster world!

One of the cats that live at this house told me about Catster so I thought that I would have to check it out, how cool! I have been taken from a house where I spent most of the first 3 months of this year living alone or with a human who has been my Mom for 9 years. She has been very sick and when she was in the hospital or nursing home someone came and fed me everyday. I sort of liked that arrangement. But this time when she went to the hospital I was ripped from my happy home and taken to this new place! They have other cats who don't want to stay out of my face so I have taken to hiding in a closet. They also have dogs here, imagine having to share a house with lower life forms! My new human Dad used to be my brother, I am so confused! The good thing about this new house is my new Mom is the person who always made sure I was well taken care of since she came into the family. She introduced me to cat treats, took me to the vet since my old Mom did not drive. One thing that confuses me is that I have been told that I am on a diet, what is a diet? I'm not sure I totally like it here, but I guess I really do not have a choice. So I say WHATEVER, as long as I get some food.
