Arrival Story:
Leona and her sister Shelby were apopted at the Pet Fair in Burbank in 2004. Just to make sure she wasn't missed--Leona screamed out to her future mom as mom was walking by the cage. Leona howled under the bed for the first night in her new home and blinked her eyes a lot. She was afraid there would not be enough food for everyone, but got over it once she realized that her food dish would never be empty again. (Unless mom got up late in the morning.)

Bio:
Leona is a little lady. She stands with her toes pointed out like a ballerina. She likes to wear her pink collar and gives good baths with her floppy little tongue. She keeps her eye on everything that goes on in the house and greets every guest.

Hey--what is that? We got a new toy. It's tall. I don't like the top platforms. Jack and Shelby can have those. I made it as high as the condo on the second tier. The condo window is pointed toward the big window that looks onto the SBC parking lot. I love to share. Everyone can find a spot on the tree. Yippee!

Wow! What an adventure! I rode in a purple cage with baby brother Jack. We went in the car! Oh yeah, I hate the car! Anyway, we now live in a new place with lots of room to run and soft white carpet. The food is centrally located, there is lots of light, and a great view of lots of humans going to work at some place called SBC. I wish they looked happier. Life is fun! Why do the people at SBC not see that? Jack is still chasing me everywhere and attacking me when I try to nap on the bed--ugh. But I love him anyway. I hope that dog Magoo comes over again soon. I think he is funny. My siblings do not, but I think he is hi-larious. I'll write again soon. I need to go see what is happening in the other room. Squeak!
