Favorite Toy: I haven't figured that out yet. She doesn't seem too interested in toys.
Favorite Nap Spot: underneath my bed or in it.
Favorite Food: Friskies Salmon Pate
Arrival Story: I adopted Madelyn at the Yavapai Humane Society, where I work as a Cat Care Specialist. Maddie (then Roo) was surrendered to us when her original owner died. We had her in our Observation Room for about a month because she wasn't eating, drinking, and using the litter box much. Her coat was in bad shape, too. I feared the worse and asked our veterinarian to take a look at her. In the meantime, I spent my lunch breaks and free time with Roo. All the test results came back clean - Roo was just depressed. Between myself and our wonderful volunteers, we finally got her eating regularly and acting brighter. Roo was then moved into our main Cattery Room and made available for adoption. Something about this beautiful girl captured my heart from the very beginning. I couldn't stand the thought of someone else adopting her, so I did. Roo/Maddie is now happy and adjusting well in her new home!
