Hello, my name is Tigerlily and I love everyone! (Everyone, that is, except my stinky sister Sasha!) My sister Sasha and I arrived in our new home one month ago. It was hard for us to leave our old home and it took time for us to adjust to our new home and family but we're managing very well. I'm doing fine now!
Thank you for the warm Catster welcome, friends requests and pretty gifts!
I'm a very sweet, gentle, affectionate love bug who loves lots of attention and lots of petting. I purr and roll around from side to side and on my back and drag myself around across the floor because I LOVE being petted and get very excited. If Sasha would allow me up on my new mommy's bed, I'd love to cuddle with my new mommy.
I love being brushed. When my new mommy brushes me, I loves it!
I lick my new mommy's feet. She says it tickles!
I love to play! Throw a ball and I will chase it and bat it around. I love my furry mice and catnip mice too! One of my favorite spots to hang out is on my inclined cat scratcher (it's mine and Sasha knows it!) When I play with my furry mice and catnip mice, I cry in a very mournful way. My new mommy says my angel sisters Kaci Sunshine and Abby used to do the same thing.
One of my favorite things is sitting in the dining room window and looking out at the world. I love to run around the house and run up and down the stairs. It's fun and great exercise! Sometimes you can find me lounging on top of the server in the dining room. I also found a great hiding place behind the living room sofa.
I'm very vocal and love to talk and have conversations with humans.
My new mommy says she loves me very much and I'm the sweetest, cutest kitty ever! :)
Today I went to the vet. I was VERY well behaved -- a little angel! I'm still basking in the glow of all the gushes and compliments I received. Everyone at the vet remarked on how well behaved I was! My exam went well and everything looks good. A little plaque on my toofies and somewhere in the near future I'll need a cleaning and scaling. The vet lady said I also might want to lose a pound or two (but no more than 2).
My pet peeve is my sister Sasha. How I wish my sister Sasha wasn't here! I am very jealous of her and don't like her getting any attention from our new mommy. She growls at me all the time. I growl right back at her but do find myself deferring to her more often than I wish I would. She chases me off the bed and often won't let me hang out in the bedroom and gets jealous when mommy pets me or even talks to me. Life would be purr-fect without her! But I'm getting my revenge. I won't allow Sasha to come downstairs! Whenever she dares to come downstairs, I lunge after her and chase her back upstairs. She runs for her life! Ha ha ha!
Sometimes Sasha doesn't growl at me and allows me to stay upstairs. Sometimes I forget to growl at her too.
Our new mommy wants us to get along and hope that happens soon!
We are the WeBees...if you pawlease, MOL!
Minko sings to his mousies, too.
We both like to play and chase eachother...but we mostly enjoy ourselves...
Soon you may even start curling up with your sisfur!
Oh Yes! our brofurs/sisfurs are a trial. But sometimes we all just settle down and clean each other's ears.
Happy you are here in Catsterland and have some fun.
I am glad that you are settling in to your new digs! I guess siblings sometimes get on each other's nerves. Has it always been that way with you guys in your other home? If not, maybe it just needs more time to settle. OR, it could be like Maizy - she really just tolerates us guys - I am sure she would be thrilled to be an only kitty again. Maybe a Feliway diffuser might help a bit? We are so glad to meet you! You got a great Momma there!
We are so very excited and happy Tigerlilly that you and your sisfur are settling in and loving your new Mom, she is a special lady.
Sisfurs I have one that sometimes I wish she wasn't around, she chases me and she thinks she is the alpha kitty...got news for her I am cause I am the oldest around here.
We hope you and your sisfur will get along better soon, it just takes time to get used to your new surroundings
