My fiance, when you pay attention to him, and food.
Mom's chihuahua, loud noises, running water.
The rugs that he burritos himself in, literally anything that can be used as a cat toy, the underside of my bed.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Mine/my fiance's lap, my bed, my dad's recliner.
Friskies wet food, and any dry food, Temptations cat treats.
Being annoying, being adorable, and being a burrito when he wraps himself in the rugs.
indoors and outdoors
My fiance and I were walking through a local park one night, and it was raining a little. We were just trying to relax, and then we heard mewing. My fiance started calling the cats, to see if they were friendly enough to come out and see us. Well, they both did. First, there came a little gray and white female, and then Luft. We took both with us, but they didn't get along. Luft stayed in our washroom temporarily until we could get him to the SPCA med center.
He probably got dropped off at the park by a previous owner. He was able to use the litter box without any help, and is very silly, sweet, quirky, and spunky. He takes a liking to my fiance, running toward him whenever he comes in the room. Most animals take a liking to him though, as he is very calm.

Week one here has been pretty good for Luft, I would imagine. He seems to be adjusting well, but there is a problem. My mom wakes up very early in the morning, at 5am, and lets him out of my room, because she doesn't want to hear him meow. My fiance and I sleep in another room at the moment, and I don't feel comfortable with Luft being out around my mom's dog, and I don't know what my mom does to him while I'm asleep. I know that she has completely changed and destroyed the schedule I've had him on, though. She tries to feed him, change his litter, and open my bedroom window. When she did this the first time, she ripped the curtain (it's actually a blanket) because she just pulled it down, even though it is screwed to the wall...
I've told her many, many, many times to stop trying to do everything for me. I've told her that I have a specific schedule I'd like to keep him on, and I have been informed by the vet exactly how much to feed him, when, and when and how much medicine to give him as well. Unfortunately, she does not trust me, or let me take this responsibility for reasons unknown to me. I am an adult, now. She never gave me a chance to take care of any animal, so I guess she thinks I am incapable. I apologize for venting, but that is pretty much the only thing causing issues. Luft is getting used to be let out at the ungodly hour of 5am, unfortunately, and that will not be able to happen once my fiance and I move out. My fiance and I are probably going to start keeping Luft with us in the room we sleep in, or begin sleeping in the room he is currently in (my original bedroom). The room he is in now, though, is directly across from my mother's room, so she could still let him out as she pleases. I've tried talking to her so many times and in so many different ways, but my mom is the type of person that the more you tell her NOT to do something, the more she does it, to get under everyone's skin. Anyways...Luft is in good health at the moment. When we first got him, my fiance and I were walking around a local park, and he, along with Lil Gray came out of the bushes when we heard mewing, and my fiance called for them. Lil Gray got adopted out, yesterday, by the way. The day after we brought them to the house, we took Luft to the SPCA medical center to get him checked out, because he was somewhat skinny and his fur was sparse in some parts. We got him tested for FIV and feline Leukemia, and he was negative for both of those. He got an examination done, and they said that he may have some kind of intestinal worm/parasite, because he was pretty gassy, so they gave him a dewormer pill. They also said he had a sore in the back of his mouth. The vet there said it could be from anything, really, because he was living in the wild, so he was given Clindacure, an antibiotic. They also gave us a dose of Revolution flea+tick preventative, because he is going to be an indoor cat and we want to make sure he doesn't have any fleas. He takes 1mL of his antibiotic every morning and night, and he got his first dose of dewormer the same day. He has to take the second dose in about a week from now. He's put on some weight, and seems to enjoy being here, as long as my fiance and I are around him. At the moment, by biggest concern is his schedule and my mom's dog. He should be okay, though. Somehow, I might be able to compromise with my mother about letting me handle Luft's care, because I know exactly what I have to do. Once his medicines are done and everything, he is going to get vaccinated, and get neutered. I'll keep you guys updated on how everything's going.
