Being wrapped in blankets like a burrito, burrowing under blankets, instigating - anything, to lick faces, giving messy nose kisses, chewing on our hair, running through the house howling with her toy squirrel in her mouth.

Pet-Peeves:
Being touched or held when she doesn't want attention. She'll start squealing loudly when she sees you coming towards her! Doesn't like her sisters playing with her toys, she'll get between them and her toys.

Favorite Toy:
A little stuffed squirrel cat toy we bought her the day we brought her home. She may think it's a litter sibling.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On the recliner right underneath the floor lamp, she loves the warmth, sinking into the bean bag to be swaddled like a baby, or on top of the kitty condo.

Favorite Food:
Science Diet, hot cheetos, buttered popcorn, doritos, chicken, turkey, tamales, pepperoni, lunch meat, ice cubes.

Arrival Story:
My name is Lily. When I was just a little gray furball someone took me and my three siblings away from our mother, put us in a box and left us out in the cold. We thought that was pretty mean, but this person left us at an office door, and they musta known nice people would find us and take care of us. When it got light outside the first person to open that door found us and took us inside. We were so happy when they put us in the sun to warm up, and pretty soon my forever daddy decided he needed another kitty. So my forever mama and sister came to pick me up. They wrapped me a blue blanket and took me on a long drive home, but we had to stop at a store and get kitten supplies. I slept the whole time, and when we got to my new home, I met Burbank and Pearl, and boy was I scared. They were so big, they snarled and hissed, but I gave it right back to them. I was so hungry and dehydrated that I would fall over, so I got held alot! But then came the dropper feedings, litter box training, butt wipes, and those three horrible baths to get rid of my fleas. The vet told my family that I was only three weeks old, and I wanted so much to cuddle with Burb and Pearl but they wouldn't let me. So I would get wrapped in a blankie and rocked to sleep. I couldn't be left alone with my sisters, so Mama and my human sister would take me shopping in a backpack and even to Nana and Grandpa's house at the beach. Now I just stay here at home and boss Burb and Pearl around!

Bio:
Lily thinks she is a dog. We have to keep plastic bags and paper away from her because she will eat them, including lint, thread and carpet! She will lay by a throw rug and start chewing on an end to start shredding it. The second day we had her she chewed off the cloth tail of a toy mouse and swallowed it. Lily is fearless despite her size. She will chase and pick on Burbank and Pearl. She'll pounce on them while they are sleeping and start chewing on their heads and ears until they get annoyed enough to swat her or run away. We don't understand her fascination with lamps. She knocked over and broke an expensive desk lamp when she was four months old simply because she was trying to lick a hot light bulb! When we try to hold her in one of her "leave me alone, I'm a princess moods" she will struggle, scream "mow wowwww", bite if necessary, and escalate to her imitation of the Three Stooges in high pitch "whoowhoowhoooo"! It's hilarious. Sometimes we hold her purposely to hear her. When we get ice from the door on the outside of the fridge she comes running because my mother-in-law gives her ice cubes in her water bowl. She loves that. But not because she likes ice water, she likes to swat it and make it swim! Every morning at 9:30 Lily comes to me wherever I am and jumps on my lap, puts her face in mine until I acknowledge her, gives me a kiss and then she lays down. It's her nap time and she wants me to hold her till she falls asleep, and it makes me melt. I think we developed this pattern when we brought her home at three weeks, and I'd rock her to sleep. Lily is a precious little princess kitty, and we couldn't get on without her. She is pure joy in our house. Guess who's sitting on my lap now - it's 9:30!

My doggie cousin

Mom found out today that our doggie cousin made his trip across Rainbow Bridge. His name is King and he was very sick. His family took care of him and made him comfortable, but it was his time to be with the angels. Goodbye King, we will meet up someday. Please keep my brother Ashes and little sister Bella company. Especially Bella, she is tiny.

My birthday was just a few days ago, and I got alot of birthday wishes and greetings, treats, catmails and even rosettes! Mom reminded me to write to everyone and thank them all, and I did of course. She even made me a list so that I wouldn't forget anyone. Here it is: Drusilla, Rasta, Obie, Socks, Starr, Cairo, Kapono, Misty, and Logan. I love my friends, all of them, and I love Catster!

Mom is starting to turn lights off, I guess it's bedtime.

Today is my birthday! I'm two years old! Did I say I was excited? I'm all grown up now, and I'm dancing on air. Now I have to wait till everyone wakes up to treat me special, to wait on me, give me treats and catnip, and lots of attention, just treat me like a queen all day long and up to midnight. Wait, I don't like treats, but I'll settle for tiny bits of my favorite human foods, and believe it or not - some Petromalt even though I don't need it. Geez, somebody wake up here...it's my birthdaaay! I'll just have to go wake these humans up...
