Cuddling up with his Daddy. I like my new brofur, Mason and am so happy for my pawrents.

If the dry food bowl goes empty, if the litter box is not clean and if he cannot drink out of the water faucet.

Favorite Toy:
His KickStix, given to him by a furiend.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Anywhere his Heart Desires!

Favorite Food:
Friskies Ocean Whitefish & Tuna Dinner Classic Pate.

He plays fetch with a ball, he can "catch" any laser light known to man. He responds to hearing the doorbell. He is a better guard cat than any dog!

Arrival Story:
One day a brother of ours, Dennis, was driving home from work. He spied a cardboard box in the center of the road. He slammed on his brakes and got out to look. Inside, he saw several dead kittens and their mother, dead also. There was one survivor, a miracle, a tiny black kitty looking up at him. He scooped him up and brought him home. He said to my husband, James, "Look. Here's something for Jody." James came to the bedroom door and presented to me the most beautiful, tiny, black ball of fur I'd ever seen. I thought at first that he was too young to survive without his mother. But God smiled on us all and he thrived. We named him Malachi James -- Malachi after the last prophet in the Old Testament and James after my husband. And by the way, Malachi is our guardian.

Malachi James and Ana were married on CatChannel on June 22, 2013. They honeymooned in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Malachi James was crowned King of CatChannel on October 30, 2013, to be the November Topaz King. On April 29, 2014 Malachi James crossed over to the Bridge on account of a fast growing bone cancer on his lower jaw. He was nestled in his Mama's arms while he transited over. She sang him a little song that she had sung when he was a baby and he slowly went to his Father God. His Mama Jody and Daddy Jimmy will miss him forever.

A New Brofur for Me!

Well, my pawrents have *finally* adopted a new kitty! I've been at the RBB for seven months now. They went to look at the HALO Adoption Agency. They had a list of five black cats from HALO's Website that they wanted to look at. One couldn't be adopted because he was on some medication, three of the cats had been transferred to other facilities. They went into a small room with about seven cats to look at the last black cat. She didn't like them very much (no interaction). Then I saw a kitty and knew he'd be purrfect for them. So I whispered into his ear, "Show them what you've got!" He walked over and started climbing up my Daddy's pant leg. Then he put his front paws on the carrier that my pawrents had brought and meowed very loudly. They looked at each other and said, "This is our cat!"

He is a light orange kitty with five white stripes around his tail and white sox and mittens. He is two years old and came from a house where they had too many animals. When they adopted him his name was Mason and my pawrents decided to keep it, added Dixon and that was that. Now he's Mason Dixon Tucker. He is just a love! He follows my Mama around like a dog. He always wants to be held or sit on their laps. He jumps from the floor to their shoulders! And he sleeps with them between their pillows in bed. I'm patting myself on the back for choosing such a perfect kitty for my pawrents. Everyone is happy!

My Mama has made a page for Mason on Catster, but it cannot go up util she gets a photo of him. This should be within a week or so. They you all can formally introduce yourselves and see how kind he is.

P.S. Mason Dixon Tucker's profile page is up and running now.

My Mama

I have so much fun reading about all the places kitties' Moms and Dads get to go. It makes me wistful for my Mama. See, she has panic disorder with agoraphobia and doesn't hardly go anywhere out of the house. He online life is wonderful and fulfilling. But I can't say "my Mama went so-and-so place" or "my Mama went out to eat at so-and-so place." Don't get me wrong now. I don't feel sorry for her because the last thing she wants is pity. It's just something she has to deal with. But she plays the piano, draws and paints, writes poetry, does her many Internet activities, and the housework, of course.

Before I crossed over to the Bridge I made Mama promise to get one or a couple of kitties some time when she was ready. I think this will be very beneficial to her and my Daddy. So that's the story of my Mama, whom I love very much and for eternity.

Love you Mama,
Angel K.Malachi
