PRISSY PRIMMY

Walking On Mom's Face

I wake up and realized I have accidentally fallen asleep on the couch, and mommy is not next to me anymore. I stretch, yawn and paw my way to mommy's room. There, I see her peacefully asleep diagonally across the bed. I make a mission to quietly jump onto the bed but this bell on my bright pink collar is like a tracking device. She's an extremely light sleeper so I know she hears the not so soft jingles, but that does not deter me. When I get on the bed I immediately start a beautiful serenade, she loves my singing so she is sure to wake up now. In the middle of my monologue I'm interrupted by a "sleeepppppppp prim." 'Sleep Prim'...really mom? Mom knows I cannot sleep without being next to her, so I hop up to her face, walk across it a couple of times until she picks me up and puts me on the floor. She knows that wont stop me, I jump back on the bed and nestle up right on top of her head. Asleep at last.
