Arrival Story:
Pixie was a rescue from a pet store. Her and her siblings were feral outdoor kittens that were taken in to be rehabilitated. When I met them she crawled right up into my lap and looked at me with her wide eyes that said 'take me home'. And I did!

Pixie was diagnosed with CKD (chronic kidney disease) at the end of January 2013. She is on three types of medication that she has to take twice a day for the rest of her life. It was a rocky start but we seem to have gotten it down pat now and she's doing excellent on her medication. In fact she's gotten much friendlier since she's started on it and become more out going. Unfortunately Pixie got very ill and within two days a decision was made to let her pass. She will always be my baby girl, my little spitfire, and my typical cat. She left her paw prints on my heart and I will always remember her.
