Arrival Story: Saturday Morning 06/30/13 I got a call from my Husband telling me there was a kitten prowling around the trash can at his place of employment he looked hungry, and was crying. He wouldn't come to my Husband and was very fearful so luckily DH had a live trap and put some meat in it and waited, sure enough 30 minutes later he called me back and asked me to come get him. I went to the store picked up a litter box, and some food that morning I had a big decision to make.. I at that time realized I didn't want him and I felt like giving him a bite to eat was all i needed to send him on his way. After many phone calls, my neighbors decide they wanted him.. they live about 2 miles from our home that night while coming home from a visit with family My husband and I spotted 2 glowing little eyes beneath my car it was him. I called for him he wouldn't come so my husband had to live trap him again. I took him to work with me that next morning, and we bonded. My Husband and I rescued this little guy I honestly feel in my heart we saved his life that morning. We go to the our first Vet appointment together next week I have a feeling fleas and worms are a possibility as with any outdoor cat especially one who has been left unattended for GOD knows how long.. I'd like to think Hank's life was spared that morning.
