Pet-Peeves: that I won't get up at first light and feed her
Favorite Toy: Feline flyer toy
Favorite Nap Spot: in my closet underneath all my black tops (oy!)
Favorite Food: sliced turkey
Arrival Story: I volunteer at the local animal shelter (Danbury Animal Welfare Society), on the 'cat' side of things. I had already adopted one adult female and I thought she could use a friend. Norah came in via our TNR program. She was about six months old at the time and seemed open enough to humans to be put up for adoption. She shied away from me at first but then started purring. It was love at first sight. My other cat, Tess, accepted her with no problem.
Norah stayed under the bed at first. But little by little I was able to earn her trust and now you'd never know she spent her first months in a colony. She even has accepted my boyfriend pretty readily!
