Arrival Story:
In September of 2000, I was only 10 then and we lived in an apartment. We received a call around 8pm from our downstairs neighbor saying they wanted to ask me something. When we went down there, our friends girlfriend was holding this small kitten in her arms saying that a few local teenage boys brought him by saying they found him at the creek just on the other side of our apartments. He had gum stuck in his hair in which she cleaned out. Since they already had to many pets, my mom allowed us to keep the kitten. He was no older than 2 weeks the vets said.

Bio:
I took full responsibility for Salem at that point. He slept in my bed with me under the sheets and ontop of my chest. Salem has always loved to crawl underneath the covers with me from then on. I think he saw himself as my protector as he now likes to attack people, everyone he doesn't know or doesn't like...except me. He'll jump at my mom every once in a while, but mostly he loves chasing my step-brother I think because he screams like a girl when Salem does. Salem is always at the front door when I come home from school, then waits on the porch for the other kids to walk past our house before taking off to chase them away and come back purring and meowing at me. ^.^ Salem is also extremely smart, he taught himself how to open our screen doors, sliding doors, and once he opened a drawer and climbed inside in the bathroom..but it closed when he got in so he got stuck >.
