Arrival Story:
I came home from my momma at 4 weeks. The place I lived before was very dirty and not healthy. I was placed on a sweet comfortable bed when all of a sudden a BIG dog came in. I mean a HUGE dog! I hissed, and cussed, and jumped and spun and ... and someone threw a shirt on me. Darkness came and then the soft hands of my owner as she tried to calm me. It took days for me to train that dog to stay away from me and who knows how many shirts I wore. However, I learned the dog was quite nice and now we are good friends - except he has bad breath and I can do without that.

Bio:
It was a tragic day when I got in the way of a dog. I lost my left eye, and that is why I am also known as King Winky. "In the Country of the Blind, the One-Eyed Cat is King." It hasn't stopped me from my pursuits, I just sneeze even more than before. I have to put up with these other three young cats, quietly making sure they know the rules and that I am in charge. I am easygoing, mellow, sweet-tempered. My favorite thing is to mark my territory outdoors so that orange cat next door knows his boundaries. I lose my mane each spring, but in winter I look like a big black lion! My footfall is heavy so my people always know when I am strolling through the house. Although Heidi thinks she is the queen, I am really silently, nobly the Top Cat. Oh yeah, it's pronounced "TEEK," don't ask me where she got that.

Hello, Goodbye!

It's true, folks, Frankie wasn't lion. We moved! I'm living with The One, although I loved The Other One just as much. At least it didn't turn into some ugly custody battle--thank goodness The Other One is smart and has such a big, compassionate heart (and very pretty, too!) so our welfare came first. Jack was driving me crazy, always hissin' and swattin' at me; I was feeling a little neurotic the past couple of weeks.

Anyway, here's a big wink to y'all. Stay safe and STAY AWAY FROM ALL DOGS, they can put yer eye out!

Yeah, Frank, you are quite the Hunter alright--apparently you've been catching more than mouses because RICE IS COMING OUT YOUR BUTT, MAN!

Before he was Frankie's daddy, he was mine. I was a kitten and Gotcha gave me baths and tried to carry me around. I loved to rub my face in his stinky ears. He was very concerned about me when I lost my eye. For a dog, he was pretty good. Together we ruled this home.
Sleep well, dog.
