Arrival Story:
I had been surfing the internet looking at rescue sites and shelters for a couple of months. I had lost one of my beloved cats the year before at an early age and I decided I owed it to him to give another cat a good life. One day I saw the photo of Tuck on the City of Toronto's website and for some reason I just knew he was the one. He was just under a year old - old enough to protect himself from the other cats and my two Corgis, but young enough to be able to adapt and be playful. He had been in the shelter for about 5 months. I picked him up on a cold February day and brought him home. He seemd to realize immediately what a great deal he got and wasn't fazed by the dogs or other cats. I told him he was Rupert's (my male Corgi) cat and from day one he bonded with Rupe and the two of them wrestle and hangout together.

Bio:
Tucker and Rupert are best pals. He absolutely adores Rupert and Rupe will let him knead him, snuggle him and even bath him. Tucker seems to be the bane of Triston's existance. Every few weeks there are midnight rompings in which Triston trys to beat up Tucker. This drives Rupert nuts as he sleeps on my bed and can't jump down on his own. I usually have to get up and put Triston in another room until he mellows out. Tucker adores all the other cats and he is often the centre of a snug-fest in the middle of my bed or in the big sheepskin dog bed. He also loves stretching out on the big dog pillow in the living room - he prefers being able to have one foot touching Rupert.

Well, what an absolute delight to wake up to this pawesome honour!! Thank you great and pawerful people at Catster!! I love it here - lots of super cats and friends. I will do my best to ensure that I am the epitomy of a good Catster!!!

This is doubly nice as I have been so sad since my second best friend Sprint passed away last week. He was my cat snuggle-buddy. Rupert is my absolute best pal in the world, but I miss Sprint. I know he would be so happy for me today. Love you Sprint!!!
