Arrival Story:
We live behind a grocery store and there are alot of strays around every winter looking for food out of the dumpsters. So every year we make a point of throwing scraps out for the cats. One night we came home and heard a kitty crying, i stood and listened and from around the corner leo came walking up to us. He had a bloody nose and lip. I went inside and got some cold meat out of the fridge and threw it on the front steps and left the porch door open. Next minute i turn around and leo is in the house. He was very friendly and came right up to me for attention. He was very skinny, and obviously sick. We fed him a bunch and gave him a blanket for the night, as we had decided to atleast take him to the vet the next day. The vet didnt know the cat, and being in a small town, if it was someones pet, he would of known it. He gave leo meds for a ulcer of the lip and told me to take him home and feed him. After asking around town, and finding out no one wanted a cat, or was missing one, i finally convinced my husband who is allergic to cats to keep him. He was neutered that week. Leo is the best cat in the world, so ready to give you love all the time. I think he came into my life to keep me company. Now to get him to not eat so much, all the time!!!!!! :)
