Foster mom here to tell you why each of these puppies is my favorite. I know it sounds a bit odd to have a litter of puppies and call each and every one of them your favorite, but I think you'll understand when you finish reading this.
We'll start off with Rose. I have frequently called little Rose the pick of the litter. She is my favorite because of her calm personality. She is quite happy to spend her day napping and playing with a nice soft toy. Rose is just so sweet and let's not forget those adorable ears of hers. I just love that they stand up just like her mom's ears. So cute.
Next, I think we'll go with another pup that gets the cute factor vote everytime. That is Mr. Dandy Lion. This guy is my favorite because he just has the sweetest face and don't think for one second that he doesn't know it. His eyes are the very definition of puppy dog eyes. This guy can literally melt your heart with just a look. To top it all off he loves to give kisses.
Third, we have to go with Daisy. She is my favorite because let's face it, those blue eyes of hers are just the most gorgeous thing ever. They are like ice and she knows how to use them. Daisy is a little more introverted than the rest of the puppies, but when she is ready for some attention she flashes those eyes around and gets every bit of attention in the room. You just have to love her.
Fourth, we have Tulip. Tulip is my favorite because she is easily the friendliest of the puppies. It just comes natural to her to be the first to come up and greet anyone and everyone. She really is something special. The others are just stuck playing catch up when it comes to this awesome outgoing personality. Tulip wins the race to be a happy little girl everytime.
Last, but certainly not least, we have my favorite Wysteria. Now I have to admit that I have a 'type' of dog when I go to pick a fave and Wysteria totally fits the bill. She is my favorite because she's a smarty. Right now she is living inside with me and pack and learning everything there is to know about house and crate training. So far she's had only one accident and that was on day one. She has been a dream to crate train. She doesn't make a fuss at all. She's such a smart girl.
Well, that's about it. I always manage to pick a favorite, but these little darlings have made that a rather interesting decision. I can't help, but love them all. They are just the cutest, sweetest, smartest pups that a foster mom could ask for.

Foster mom here to report on how well the Pitt 'r Patt Pups did with their first nail trims.
I can definently say they were very well behaved. I expected them to be upset about having to hold still long enough to get their nail trims. And while I did have a little kicking and wanting to roll away from me, overall the pups did great.
First up we had Mr. Dandy Lion. Things went great. I just laid him in the floor and trimmed his front nails while he kicked my leg with his back legs. Then onto the back legs. No issues whatsoever. Afterwards he wanted to lay in the floor and have his belly rubbed. A really good experience for him. Great little boy.
Second we had Wysteria. Now this little girl did not understand one bit why she had to lay still. I finally put one of my legs over her chest and she settled right down. I've decided to call this the leg hug. Once she settled down trimming her nails was a breeze. I did the same thing for her back legs, except this time I put my leg just over her front legs and neck. No pressure applied, don't worry. She did very well and wanted to explore the nail trimmers when we were done. Wonderful little girl.
Third we had Tulip. Tulip gets the top score easily. Except to be fair this was actually her second nail trim. She was not happy about the first one and actually growled at me. This time though she didn't make one peep. Which is excellent because Tulip is just done healing from a broken paw. After being done with her nail trim Tulip wanted to make sure my hands were clean for the next puppy. Sweet girl.
Fourth we had Daisy. She really wanted to roll away from me, so Daisy got the same leg hug as Wysteria and did just great. Front nails were a breeze to trim. She didn't need a leg hug for the her back legs, but I got a little careless and accidently nicked one of her cuticles. She was not happy about that obviously and didn't want me to touch it afterwards, but she was calm and relaxed about me finishing up the other nails. Afterwards she checked out the nail trimmers and sat in my lap for a few minutes. Forgiving sweet girl.
Fifth and lastly we had Rose. Rose was very happy to take a nap while everyfur was getting their nails done and she would have been happy to continue her nap. I finally had to crawl over and get her. The sleepy little girl didn't care one bit that she was getting her nails trimmed. She quite contently continued to lay in the floor when we were done. I gave her a nice belly rub and let her continue her nap. Just can't help but love little Rose.
So basically everyfur did great today. I couldn't be more pleased. They are a wonderful set of pups. Hopefully they'll do even better next time.
