Arrival Story: When my son first started 4-H dog training in April 1998, he brought Cali home from his 4-H leader's house. Cali lived a long healthy happy life. In 2011 she began to develop obvious symptoms of CRF, the disease that I believe is by far the #1 cause of death of elderly cats. Over the years, the vast majority of my elderly cats have died of CRF.
With supportive treatment for her CRF, Cali lived well over a year after her first obvious CRF symptoms appeared. Cali died in my arms at 11:42 pm on October 11, 2012(interestingly October 11 was my mother's birthday, my mother passed on 1-23-2010 after a 10 year war with ovarian cancer.)
Cali is buried in the catnip garden with my other kitties who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Thank you for remembering Cali on the anniversary of her Bridge Day & for your stars & rosettes.
