Uno's Swim

Hey kitties, when you walk into a bathroom and see a showoff who calls herself queen of the house and thinks she runs the place, and she's tightrope walking around the bathtub edge, her butt is sticking up in the air like a button just asking to be pushed, and the tub is half full of water, could you resist the temptation to push her button and take her ego down a little bit?

Uno claims I goosed her and dunked her but....
All I did was push Uno's button. She's the one who freaked out and fell into the tub. And instead of getting mad about it, she could've just relaxed and enjoyed a swim!

Thank you so very much, Catster, for honoring me with Diary of the Day today. I was so thrilled when Mom showed it to me on her laptop. Thank you very much to my current & future friends for the dazzling emerald, rosettes, treats, & positive comments you've given me. Purrs to you all! I also told Mom that now I'm glad that when I mentioned that part about enjoying watching Adult Swim, I left the other part out of my diary..the part that when I con people out of too much junk food, it makes me fart as bad as Peter in Family Guy!

Uniquely Velcro

Hi, my name is Velcro and I'm a big beautiful brown mackerel tabby kitty who is part Maine Coon and unlike my brother Buttons, I also was blessed with the long luxuriant Maine Coon coat and size! I named my diary Velcro Swim because one big thing that makes me different from most other cats is that I like water, I enjoy baths, and I love to swim! Those bathtub photos of me on my profile are real. Also I like watching Adult Swim when it's on TV!

There are also other things that make me unique. For one, with my consent and cooperation of course, Russ our human's son who will become MY human whenever he gets a place of his own, has taught me to come to him when he calls me. Now he never uses the typical way of calling cats. No "here kitty kitty kitty" for me! No, he uses "Velcro Come!" just as he and our human mom uses when working with dogs. When he calls me, I go running and sit in front of him just like a dog doing a good AKC obedience recall!

I also like to eat foods most other cats wouldn't even think of sampling. Russ and our human mom have to watch out for me to make sure I don't get anything that's not good for me though. Like if our human mom is eating a bowl of fresh fruit, our human mom has to make sure I don't eat the grapes. She lets me eat a few blueberries though, which I love. I also will eat strawberries and other fruits although our human mom always limits how much I'm allowed to have. One of my favorite foods is...Cheetos. When Russ or his girlfriend are here and they have Cheetos, the only way they can get any peace is if they share. In the art of bugging people to share their food, I do still act like a cat!
