Fiona is healthier now than before, but she still looks quite thin (especially without hair on her back half). When she lays on her side, I feel her ribs as a group (which is good) as opposed to individual bumps (not good). At most, she was 11 lbs and the vet told me that we needed to bring that down, which I did, to ten lbs. I think she was 9 lbs before surgery, and then she lost a pound and a half. Last Wednesday, she was at 8 lbs. I know she has muscle to build up, and that she doesn't need to be huge. I would hope to get her to a healthy 9 lbs of muscle. She is a big kitty with bigger feet and paws. Some might say that somewhere in the mixed suburban blood-line of adoption, there might be some Maine coon traits.

I got up to 18 pounds one time - that was really big! And down to 6! Now I'm a healthy 8.

Our Fitz is petite at about 8 pounds. That sounds like a nice healthy weight. Very glad you are doing well little lady.
Purrs of continued healing
