Tisk, tisk, tisk. Chloe found a new yoga pose to lick her paw. I put Vetericyn on it, and she would run to lick it off. I had to get creative and put a human bandaid after applying more vetericyn until I get vet advice. I tried wrapping with pet gauze, but it came off with a fling of the wrist.

There is a bad-tasting creamn called Variton that you can get from the vet that can be put on bandages, stitches, etc, that will keep a cat or a dog from licking or chewing the area. I've had cats & dogs who would lick bitter apple but so far I've never seen a cat or dog who would lick Variton.
