We have received a lot of support from Footless' friends and visitors in the form of various Rosettes, stars, treats, warm comments and letters. Footless' family just wants to thank everyone for their prayers, compassion, friendship, and most of all love. Footless loved to spread love. That was her passion, her very soul. Being selected Cat of the Day seemed very fitting, like a attributing memorial for her. So again, think you spreading your love in her memory!

Over The Rainbow

Footless has departed from her loved ones. She will be missed. She was loved by her mommy, playmate, Boots, and neighbors. She was the type of kitty that when you had a rotten day you could just look at her and pet her and you all of your problems would just melt away. She loved to spread love. Her mommy always had a saying "scratch her ears once and you had a friend for life."

Surgery Day

Today is the day of the surgery. I think waiting for the results will be just as bad as waiting for the day itself. I am just going to hope that she comes out of it ok and that it is just a mass that needs to be removed. One of the hardest parts is that she is not even aware of what is about to happen but I know deep down it is for the best. After she recovers she will feel much better; she will be able to breath much easier. Oh I hope it is just a mass.

Today's A Good Day

This morning I was getting ready for work and I found Footless looking outside the bedroom window. Something had her interest. She kept looking around. Her ears were looked like little radars moving here and there. Then all of a sudden she got a wild hair, arched her back, and ran into the living room. It makes me happy to see her good days.

Worried

Last night Footless had me worried. She was hiding behind the hamper and would not come out. This is so unlike her it is unreal. She is normally so loving. She has enough love for everyone she meets. Waiting for the time of the surgery is hard. I just hope it helps her.

Last night I layed in bed and told FooFoo how much I loved her and much she means to me. I just felt that it was important somehow. She just looked at me and rubbed her head on my hand like she always does. Right now I can't think of what I would do if the worst should happen. I guess until Monday I am going to prepare myself and hope for the best.

Life Can Quickly Change

This morning I had taken my kitty to the vet. When the doctor examined noticed that Footless had slightly labored breathing. After a few x-rays my cat was diagnosed with cancer. We are not sure what kind yet. The mass is rather large, about the size of a small orange. Right now the vet thinks it is thymoma cancer. We go in Monday for another appointment, a biopsy, and surgery. In the mean time Footless and I are in need of help. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
