Arrival Story:
In 2002, a stray cat started coming around. I noticed that she was pregnant so I started feeding her. After about a month she gave birth and one of them was missing a back paw. After they were weaned I found homes for everyone except for the one with the missing paw. She stayed with me. A neighbor kid came over and said "look she is footless". The name stuck and so did she. My FooFoo has been diagnosed with cancer. otless-cancer-fund

Thank You From Footless' Family

We have received a lot of support from Footless' friends and visitors in the form of various Rosettes, stars, treats, warm comments and letters. Footless' family just wants to thank everyone for their prayers, compassion, friendship, and most of all love. Footless loved to spread love. That was her passion, her very soul. Being selected Cat of the Day seemed very fitting, like a attributing memorial for her. So again, think you spreading your love in her memory!

Over The Rainbow

Footless has departed from her loved ones. She will be missed. She was loved by her mommy, playmate, Boots, and neighbors. She was the type of kitty that when you had a rotten day you could just look at her and pet her and you all of your problems would just melt away. She loved to spread love. Her mommy always had a saying "scratch her ears once and you had a friend for life."

Surgery Day

Today is the day of the surgery. I think waiting for the results will be just as bad as waiting for the day itself. I am just going to hope that she comes out of it ok and that it is just a mass that needs to be removed. One of the hardest parts is that she is not even aware of what is about to happen but I know deep down it is for the best. After she recovers she will feel much better; she will be able to breath much easier. Oh I hope it is just a mass.
