Black and White
She hates getting her nails trimmed.
Favorite Nap Spot:
My husband is quite the cat person. When I moved to Montana with him, his father moved out and took his cats with him. The only pet I had was Lou Dog, my wippet mix mut. So shortly after moving in, I started browsing the near by shelter. I found a cute little girl on the shelters website, so I went to see her in particular. When I found her in the shelter she really wanted nothing to do with me, and when I returned later that week her original family was with her crying as she had been missing for several months. I was quite happy to know that she was reunited with her family. Knowing that I wanted a long hair preferably black and white cat, I picked up the big girl with the long sexy whiskers. She climbed onto my shoulders and sniffed my ears and loved on me. She left her mark for sure. I came back three or four times a week for over two months. The ladies at the shelter told me that there were several other applications for her before mine. So I didn't keep my hopes up, but I continued to visit her on a regular basis. Taking my husband and my son now and then. Finally I recieved a call from the shelter, they had given it a lot of thought and although several people wanted her, they decided to let me take her home, I'm sure it had alot to do with the many many visits I had made. So the next day I got the cat carrier and went to the shelter. They microchipped her for me, had me sign the forms, and she was finally mine! When I got her home the goal was to introduce her to Lou Dog with little problems. I knew that Lou wouldn't hurt her, he's always been interested in cats, but has never had the instinct to kill them. He was attached to her but for a few hours, and just like that they were best friends!
Back in Texas, my husband lived with his grandparents for most of his childhood. They had a huge long haired black and white cat named sylvester. He passed a few years ago of old age. When we brough our girl home from the shelter, originally named Honeycutt, the resemblence was crazy, so we named her Sylvia! She's the only house cat that I have ever had, and I love her! She doesn't like to play with cat toys so much, but loves to bat little bits of trash around in the dinning room haha. Her best friend is a dog, and her favorite place to sleep is on my chest =) She meows a whole lot, enough be be annoying, but its ok. She likes to eat, so she's on a diet. If I'm singing and doing dishes, she likes to sing with me... My pets are awesome, I'm lucky to have a cat and a dog who are so well behaved.

MEEOW!! I got diary of the day! What a plesant surprise! I've been a member for less than a week =") Well nothing new today... Just cat napping around the house, and meowing at mom like usual. It's been 8 months since mom brought me home, and I'm loving every minute of it! Lou is my best friend, but I couldn't stand the other cats at the shelter. Mom would be petting me, and the other cats would want her to pet them as well... I put an end to that real quick... swatted any other cat that got too close.... I guess I'm a dog cat, and not a cat cat... Lets just hope that when mom does get a puppy, he plays just as nice and Lou Doggy does.

Mom stopped feeding me as much after the last time that I threw up... Now instead of 2 scoops in the morning and 2 for dinner, she gives me one for breakfast, one for lunch and one for dinner... so I get to eat more often, but not as much. And I haven't threw up since! But i'm a fatty so I yeowl at mom all day. I recently discovered that my owners keep tasty bread on the counter in the kitchen... had to chew threw the bag to get to it though... They started putting it in the pantry after finding the whole in the bag. Mom has been grooming me more often! I love it for a few minutes, but after a while it gets annoying! My mommy has been talking about getting a doberman puppy, but she can't because of our landlord. He says that Lou and I are the only animals they can have... dont know why... mom can train dogs... I've seen her do it, and Lou is the most well behaved dog I know!

Daddy fed me today before mommy was fully awake. I ate most of my food as fast as i possibly could! Then I went back to the living room where mommy was starting to wake up more. So as she was turning on the weather channel, I jumped onto the window sill and vomited my breakfast all over the sill and the floor below. She didn't sound very happy, then I knew she wasn't happy when she picked me up and put me in the bathroom for a few minutes... I'm sorry mommy, I can't figure out that it's better to actually chew my food before I swallow it... I have a feeling mommy is going to cut my food... again...
