My weekend was great. Mom took me to the vet Friday, so many test. I think they forgot I was a cat and just poked me and stuck things in my butt….. I mean really humans… UGH!

Good news, I am on some meds that should fix me. Dr told mom a lot of animals adopted from shelters; shelters don’t know the history so they are limited as far as treating animals. Dr found out I have a lot of internal swelling and bruising. Dr said a lot of abused animals have this. It will take a lot of TLC from mom and dad, and steroids for the swelling and meds for the nausea. She told mom to bring me back in 2 weeks.

Mom, was so good to me this weekend. Saturday and Sunday, mom stayed home and doctors on me, I had to take my meds 3 times a day with small meals 4 times a day for the first two days.

Today I will just need meds twice a day and food twice a day. I ate everything mom gave me, It’s the most I have eaten in weeks.

Since mom had been sick to, she shut the door to my room at 3 am, since I wanted to play. Once she got up and let me out I was a little mad, but she petted me and hugged me, it’s hard to stay made at mom.
We played until It was time for me to nap, then she napped with me. I think the napping did mom some good. She seems much better as well.

OH my gosh, you poor little guy. It is so good that your Mom fell in love with you at the shelter. She'll make it all better.

Good job on napping with your Mom. Every human needs a cat. It helps them a lot when they have an owie.

Yes, I am getting stronger, and feeling better, keeping all my food down.

Bad thing, now mom says I have to have rules on getting on the counter. I wasnt feeling like it before now I love to jump up high and look at mom while she does all that busy stuff humans do when they get home from work. Mom told me its "NO NO"?!?!?!!?
