Mom has been working all weekend on a post for her blog. Normally, she blogs about religion and politics and other crazy stuff, but she told me this morning that she is working on a post about my sister, Laila, and I. We turn 1 on Monday. Mom has told us both a lot of times the past few weeks that she put a lot of work into us. See, we were both really sick little kittens--me especially. I got really sick the first weekend we were at home with Mom, but she worked really hard to make sure I got healthy again. That's why I think she's so awesome, even though she does yell at me a lot. It's not my fault that there's such interesting stuff to investigate on her kitchen counters! Or that she keeps so much fun stuff on the book cases in her living room. I'm a curious little boy. I can't help myself! Mom calls me Monster all the time, but I guess as long as she calls me HER Monster, I can't complain too much. I'll just keep giving her lots of hugs and snuggles. Maybe if I'm cute enough, she'll forget that I occasionally drive her insane.
