Well today was a long day.... This morning my brothers and sisters started to disappear... Then some 2 legged women and a couple of 2 legged smaller people came and took me away,,, but mom let me take my fravorit toy and blanket... We were in the car a long time.. But they stopped to let me walk every so often even took me to petsmart to get me some treats, the dogs were scary... But my new mommy kept me safe...them we got to my new home and they feed me and let me chill out... I think I will get used to this spoiled life they even have me a cool cat tree and I don't have to share with any other 4 legged animals. But still miss my mommy and sister and brothers but maybe I will learn to love this new place.... We will see what the weeks will bring...
Welcome home. May you have a long and happy life with your new family.
I'm so happy you have a furever home Tiger Lilly. It sounds wonderful!
She is so cute! But we are rather biased in this house, we absolutely LOVE spotted kitties around here! One of our first cats, adopted before we were even married, was Nonsense, who we rescued from a shelter as a cute little gray spotted firball of six weeks. First trip to the vet, he told my wife that she was an Egyptian Mau! We knew nothing of the breed, but learned a lot during the sixteen years she graced our lives. We later adopted a second Mau, a retired breeding female. We had been feline free for about five years, when for Christmas in 2011 two of our daughters surprised us with a wonderful two year old Ocicat, Saphira. Her arrival story is kind of cute, see her page here for the complete narrative. From what I read, Bengals are kind of similar to Ocis as far as being smart, active, curious, and playful, only more so. You are probably in for a very entertaining time with your new kitty!
Hi Tiger Lilly, I'm Viola, Saphira's new sisfur. She forgot to tell you concatulations for being DOTD, what an honor after only a few days in your furever home and on Catster. We are purring "welcome to your new home."
Youza so tinys. I wonder ifs i wuz tinys like dat. Mama got mez bigs... 1 1/2 years olds. They said i wuz three. But nos mez too kitten like.
So I went around crying for da kittehs and humans at the shelter. I screamed for a couple of days. Mama knows i missed dems because I do the same when she goes away.
It tool mez awhiles to adjust. But Nows I happy and have my toys, boxes and hoomans to myself. ME! ME! ME!
Happy forever home day.
