Arrival Story:
Bijou, as a gorgeous pure-bred looking 3 month old kitten, was going to be killed at the local animal "shelter" because she had an upper respiratory infection and weepy eyes. Our rescue group saved her, and provided her the antibiotics and eye ointment necessary to get her well (Didn't cost very much and only took about 2 weeks). Why our local well-to-do animal "shelter" with a staff veterinarian didn't do the same is beyond me! ->->-> Although I intended to foster her, nurse her back to health and get her adopted out, her endearing personality won me over and we added her to our household. She became my Xmas present!

Bio:
Bijou is a Balinese kitty, she looks like a long-haired Siamese with blue eyes and a fluffy, plumed tail. This breed is very energetic, intelligent and interactive. ->->-> Bijou is quite the little snuggler with a sweet little talkative chirp of a voice, and loves to play fetch with her toys - you'd think she was a little dog instead of a cat!
