Leave a treat for Fygarr the Mighty

Nicknames:
Fygie-Igar

Quick Bio:
-part feral

Likes:
Her green and white mouse, toys covered with rabbit fur, catnip and stinky valerian root. Standing on Mommy and kneading her front paws into Mom's side while burying her face.

Pet-Peeves:
Fygarr is scared of other cats but especially is scared of our other calico, Tas. We're hoping they learn to get along eventually.

Favorite Toy:
Fygarr has a green and white mouse that we put in the room with her when she first came home from being spayed. Since then it, and another mouse that looks just like it, have become her favourite toys.

Favorite Nap Spot:
The kitty bed resting by the computer keyboard, especially when Mom is there, other wise Mom's lap.

Favorite Food:
She likes to steal the kitten's growth and development food, but it makes her sick. To rich for her I think.

Skills:
She plays fetch

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
We have an active feral colony here. When we met Fygarr we noticed that she "talks" to people. Also, she'd let people touch her. We could tell she was feral/wild, but the colony wouldn't let her into their shelter areas. We were worried that she'd die in the winter cold, so we brought her in to take to the vet and have checked out to evaluate for adoptability. Unfortunately, she was VERY skittish. She attached to me and wouldn't deal with anybody else at first. Also, she was a nipper and hated her sides being touched. It became apparent that she wasn't suitable for adoption unless we found a home with a very patient Mom/Dad.

Bio:
The vet said she was healthy, and at least a year and a half old despite appearing to be less than eight or so months old. We brought her home and introduced her to Tas and Pooka. She doesn't get along with Tas, but she's doing much better now. She loves to snuggle into my lap as well as my fiance's. She likes our friends' laps too! She's been spayed and has calmed and even taken to playing with Pooka and the new kitten, Dusty. She plays with toys too. A huge step over the scaredy cat she used to be. She even plays fetch! I'll toss her mouse, she'll bring it back, repeat until she's tired of it. Not bad for a shaking, hissing, biting feral. She's still skittish but she's our little girl, and we love her.
