indoors Arrival Story: Our cat Legolas went missing in September 2012. We saw that Mac was very sad and lonely without his favorite friend. We eventually felt that it was time to get a new kitten and one day we called a friend who sometimes sells pets at her grooming place in town. She had two orange kittens and we had a very hard time deciding which one to take home. We were tempted to bring them both home. But we agreed on Jax and he is a wonderful, playful, friendly, loving addition. And he and Mac have become best furiends! Bio: Jax loves to purr and have his belly rubbed. He can be a troublemaker but also very sweet. Lives Remaining: 9 of 9 Forums Motto: I love to play! The Groups I'm In: **Catstertown**, Hey! Wow, I’m so surprised to have another diary honor today!! Thank you Catster HQ/Diary Gal! And thank you to all my furiends who helped me celebrate my other recent DDP and my DOTD. You don’t need to send me gifties today, save your zealies for new kitties or those who haven’t been in the spotlight for a while.
So this past Monday was a big day for me! I was Diary of the Day AND I got neutered! I was nervous about my big vet appointment. My furiends in Catster groups reassured me that it was no big deal. Still, I was worried. Especially when my food and water bowls disappeared on Sunday evening and I didn’t even get my Fancy Feast breakfast Monday morning! I was pretty calm at the vet’s, at first- mostly just curious. Everything started out like other vet visits but then Mom and Dad left and I stayed! That’s when I really got worried. I don’t remember very much about the whole experience, although I think I slept a lot. My next memory is waking up at the vet’s and seeing my pawrents and I was so happy to see them! I was groggy in the car but when we got home, I wanted to be my normal crazy kitten self. My body was still affected by the meds though, and it was not cooperating like usual. Mom and Dad put me in the guest room with the door closed and I rested.
The next day I was pretty much back to my regular kitten tricks. One of my favorite is jumping up on Dad’s desk and messing around with his pens and papers, or sitting on top of his computer monitor. I usually do it continuously throughout the day and Dad always gets mad. But he got tired of our game I guess, and he brought home a new cat tree for me, which he set by his desk and the windows. I LOVE it. Now I have a place to hang out that’s my own, and I can watch the birdies outside and be high up! I have been so interested in my new cat tree that I have left his desk alone…for now.
Oh boy, oh boy, I was tagged by Anna for this fun game! Copy my diary, change the answers to yours and tag five of your friends!
Five Things I Like About Spring:
This is my first spring but what I like about it so far is:
1. Catching bugs that get inside
2. Soaking up the sun
3. Listening to and watching the birdies
4. Smelling the spring breezes through the open window
5. Waking up with the early rising sun
