Orange & White Tabby
He loves to play, sleep, and be held. He also loves his belly rubbed.
Being told no!
All cat toys, as well as anything that he might think is a toy. He also likes the Turbo Scratcher
He can find a pen anywhere, even if it's stuck in a book. Then he carries the pen to the water bowl and puts it in the water, or hides it under the couch.
Our cat Legolas went missing in September 2012. We saw that Mac was very sad and lonely without his favorite friend. We eventually felt that it was time to get a new kitten and one day we called a friend who sometimes sells pets at her grooming place in town. She had two orange kittens and we had a very hard time deciding which one to take home. We were tempted to bring them both home. But we agreed on Jax and he is a wonderful, playful, friendly, loving addition. And he and Mac have become best furiends!
Jax loves to purr and have his belly rubbed. He can be a troublemaker but also very sweet.

Hi furiends!! I wanted to share with everyone something that I am excited about...My pal Milo Blue Eyes recently wrote a diary entry about his picture being featured on a kewl website called freekibblekat.com. My mom visits the website every day to answer trivia questions and donate kibble to animal shelters. She thought it was so pawsome that Milo got his picture featured and she sent in pictures of me, Mac, and Ivy. Today she got an email saying that I will be featured on the website on Tuesday, the 22nd. Yippee!! Thank you Milo for the pawtastic idea, I am so excited!
I hope you are all enjoying spring and that you have a wonderful Easter tomorrow!

I had a new experience. Let me start by saying I love water. I like to put my paws in the water dish, and drink from the faucet. When Mom takes a bubble bath, I like to walk all around the edge and paw at the bubbles and the water. Sometimes she pops the bubbles up in the air and I bat at them. It's so entertaining! I thought I might want to go IN the bath, but it happened unexpectedly, and let me tell you, it was NOT as fun as I thought it would be!! Mom was draining the tub after her bath and there was only a little water left at the bottom. I reached down to paw at the bubbles and THUMP, SWOOSH, I was IN the bath!! Believe me, it was NOT something I'd recommend. I scrambled to get out of the tub and when I did, I was covered in bubbles! Mom toweled me off and was laughing at me and told me I smelled good! I can't believe she was laughing at me, it was NOT funny!! I was so miffed. I spent hours just sitting in the bathroom, indignant, and licking that icky bubble-smell off of me. I'm telling you kitties, you do not want to get in a bath, no matter if you love water or think those bubbles look fun!

Wow, I’m so surprised to have another diary honor today!! Thank you Catster HQ/Diary Gal! And thank you to all my furiends who helped me celebrate my other recent DDP and my DOTD. You don’t need to send me gifties today, save your zealies for new kitties or those who haven’t been in the spotlight for a while.
So this past Monday was a big day for me! I was Diary of the Day AND I got neutered! I was nervous about my big vet appointment. My furiends in Catster groups reassured me that it was no big deal. Still, I was worried. Especially when my food and water bowls disappeared on Sunday evening and I didn’t even get my Fancy Feast breakfast Monday morning! I was pretty calm at the vet’s, at first- mostly just curious. Everything started out like other vet visits but then Mom and Dad left and I stayed! That’s when I really got worried. I don’t remember very much about the whole experience, although I think I slept a lot. My next memory is waking up at the vet’s and seeing my pawrents and I was so happy to see them! I was groggy in the car but when we got home, I wanted to be my normal crazy kitten self. My body was still affected by the meds though, and it was not cooperating like usual. Mom and Dad put me in the guest room with the door closed and I rested.
The next day I was pretty much back to my regular kitten tricks. One of my favorite is jumping up on Dad’s desk and messing around with his pens and papers, or sitting on top of his computer monitor. I usually do it continuously throughout the day and Dad always gets mad. But he got tired of our game I guess, and he brought home a new cat tree for me, which he set by his desk and the windows. I LOVE it. Now I have a place to hang out that’s my own, and I can watch the birdies outside and be high up! I have been so interested in my new cat tree that I have left his desk alone…for now.
