I was looking for a kitty as some extra company at the house that my Fiance and I have. I came across Milly and her litter mates after a month of looking. I decided to go and visit the adoption agency to meet these kittens. Milly was the wild kitten of the group. She hissed and swatted at any hand that came near her. The agency adopted out all her other siblings except one, Porridge. People were afraid of Milly and Porridge was the runt. I knew with time, patience, and love Milly would come to be a very friendly kitten. So I adopted Milly and her sister Porridge.
Bio:
Milly was an aggressive kitty when she was adopted. When she arrived at her new forever home, I took the top off the carrier, and sat down beside her and her sister Porridge. I talked to them, but never tried to force attention on them. After an hour of sitting next to them, Milly slowly started to make her way out of the carrier, and sniff me. She made a few passes before heading to the kitchen and hiding under the back chair. This is where she spent most of her fist three days. She slowly started to come out and inspect the house, myself, and my fiance. After five days she started to allow us to walk near her and touch her. No hissing, growling, or swatting. After a week she became a loving lap cat. Patience does pay off!
