indoors Arrival Story: I heard tiny cries outside one night. I tried to get my mom to listen but she couldn't hear it. The next day when my mom was hanging clothes outside she heard it. She found helby up in a tree in our backyard crying. So my mom got her out of the tree and brought her inside. We all fell in love with her. She spent a few days in the bathroom. At least until we got her fully checked out. We had her in our life for 14 years. Forums Motto: Shelby shall be whatever she shall be. I wrote this poem/little story about my cat Shelby 7 years ago. Shelby passed away 3 years ago at 14 years of age due to complecations of her thyroid (enlarged heart). She was the sweetest cat.
While you are away
The cat paws at the door
She sees you are not home
And decides to open it
With one paw
She sticks her paw
Right at the corner
Of the door
And with a couple of pulls
She is inside
She says to herself
"Oh how nice
To have the whole house
All to myself"
She goes from bed to bed
And when I get home
I go in my room
And who should be on my bed
But the Great Escaping Kitty
