Arrival Story: We volunteer with a local rescue. One day when in charge of the 'rescue phone' I got a message from a woman who told me she had been on the 'waiting list' with this little cat for a couple months, and she was very worried, as the nights were getting colder and Midnight was living in a carrier in her backyard. It seems her neighbor had moved, leaving the little cat behind. She had 2 cats and a parrot that didn't much like the cats she had, and she was afraid that if Midgnight went after the bird he would be hurt. (why she couldn't put the cat in another room we dont' know.) But she had put a carrier in her backyard and fed him and cared for him daiily.
She told us she was worried, as cats had been killed in the street before, and another worry was a predicted storm.
We thought it over, then told the Rescue we would foster Midnight. My husband went and got him that Friday, he got a once over at the vet, and was pronounced healthy.
It was a good thing we got him when we did. Hurricane Sandy hit that weekend. By Monday evening Midnight's former backyard was under water.
Midnight is slinky, looks exotic, and is a wiry, rather good natured little liteweight cat with white ear tufts, and a tiny spalsh of white on his chest. He is amazing.

Bio: So proud to be named by Samoa Mc Boa as Dreamboat-in-Training #46a Feb 12, 2013!
The woman who found Midnight said that the people who had him had didn't have him very long. She stated that the day they moved they put him outside.
The vet who examined Midnight believes he is just about a year old.
Midnight was originally a foster. However, CK adores him and they have become best buddy brothers or as my husband says 'brothers from another mother'.
