Arrival Story:
We had arranged to rescue Lucky and his sister and mother(she was a full blooded Maine Coon) that Wednesday morning. When we arrived at the shelter, the cats were still on transport from the vet to the shelter after being fixed. A man came running in with their cages and announced Luckys sister had died shortly after surgery and that all of them had horrible URI's. We decided to name our new kitty Lucky because he was lucky to have lived. It was touch and go for a week with the URI. Lucky is a small, streamlined cat. He's all muscle, but he looks around 8 months old. He has the sweetest personaliy. We tried to adopt him out once and he became sick coming back home so we decided to keep him.
