Arrival Story:
My husband and I came home from dinner one n ight in August. I saw tis black cat in the yard of the neighbor across the street and said, "Hi, kitty," My husband said, don't talk to the cat. Well later that ight, hubby took the dog out and there was the black cat on our porch and there he stayed. Come Halloween time I brought Sleuth inside so he would be safe. The short story, he is now permanently inside. He is grat about the litter box and he gets along fine with all my other cats. He is a very nice boy.
Bio:
As you can see, Sleuth's full name is rather long. There is a series of books by Carole Nelson Doulglas which feature a black cat named Midnight Louie who helps to solve crimes. So, I did think about midnight Louie (I have a grey cat named Joe Gray named after another literary feline crime solver), but thought no. I keep trying to learn Italian so I thought...Mezzanotte Luigi, Italian for Midnight Louie. But then I added Super Sleuth and decided to call him Sleuth.
When Sleuth first shwed up he was thin and unaltered. That latter was taken care of immediately. Once he settled in, he began to gain weight and is now a very handsome black cat with that obligator white spot on his throat. He sometimes wants to go outside, but he is an indoor boy now.
