We got the results of my fecal exam back today. It is negative for parasites! That is one more step toward me becoming a permanent resident of the household.
Tonight, when Mom gets home from work, Dad and she are going to remove the center cardboard panel from the pet gate (they can't remove the side panels as Midge can slip through) and let me come face to face with my hopefully future siblings!
Please say purrs that we will start to accept each other. The last step will be to see if we can get along in the same space.
Purring all goes well Sebastian!
That's pawsome news, Sebastian! I remember my first night in the house. All of the cats in the family really knew me before I came in because I used to live in the yard, and since I used to climb all over Mommy, she took my scent in to them pretty much every day. When I came back from the vet, all the babies sniffed at me but didn't seem too interested. I came out of the carrier, and nobody did anything. I was still a little kitten so Mommy made sure that I was being watched just in case anyone got fresh. But not long after, I ran upstairs and the rest of the fursiblings followed me upstairs. Quick as a wink, I was. Mommy ran right upstairs and found them all around me hissing! We all stayed calm but I was scared. I stayed under furniture for a week or so but I used to come near Mommy. But honestly, that one hiss was all that I got. Me and my fursiblings were friendly from that moment on. So, if there's some hissing your fursiblings meet you, don't sweat it! They just might not know what else to say. And, you have Uncle Tigger looking over you.
When I was little and I came into the house, my Grandmom Beauty hated me. Really hated me. I didn't know what I did wrong. She just stayed upstairs and hid for months. She wouldn't eat with us. Mommy had to take food and water upstairs for her. She met me a few times before I moved in, so it's not like I was a stranger. Then we all moved to a new house. We were all so scared on moving day that when we got out of our carriers, we were all huddled together for protection. Then Beauty finally became my friend. I think your siblings will accept you. Even if it takes a while, be patient. They will see you are really a cool cat!
Purrin' it all works out fur U Sebastian!~ Pawsome news 'bout Ur fecal Exam, dood!!!!~ Some hissin' iz normal, but we're shur U'll get 'long wif 'em all~! Happy Purrs 'n hugs to all o' U~!!!
Since you were an outside kitty before, you're probably used to having to get along with others. It will most likely be more of an adjustment for the kitties already at your house.
Sure hope it all goes smooth. Sometimes tha king of the cats, I refer to mahself, has bad behavior due to a new cat. I am doin' that now since MC brot a new kitty inside.
Purrs to you Sebastian
That is GREAT news!!
We hope you like your future fursiblings right off the bat :)

Hi Sebastian. You really have some interesting colors in your fur dood. We are all so glad you are moving towards your adoption. It does take a bit of time so be patient.
It is just unimaginable that a hooman would abandon you. It is so wonderful that you now have a real loving family.
