Arrival Story:
An outside kitty befriended a friend of ours over the last six months. She could not keep him indoors. She asked for help in placing him. Since I volunteer for a cat sanctuary, my husband offered my help. :) We were going to try to place him in a rescue in her area (she lives about three hours away), but they were all full or had a waiting list. In the mean time, our friend found out she might move out of state and she worried what would happen to the kitty if she did, since she has been feeding him. Once I heard of this, I asked my husband if we could foster-to-adopt Kitty. He said yes right away! Our friend brought Kitty up to us in Placerville. Now, Kitty (we named him Sebastian) is with us. He is temporarily being sequestered in the back part of the house until he gets fully vetted and tested. We cannot wait to introduce him to all our kitties! We hope they like each other, or at least tolerate each other, so we can officially adopt him. :)
Bio:
Sebastian was already neutered when we got him. He is using his cat box faithfully (we were a little worried since he has been an outdoor kitty.) He is an absolute love bug and likes nothing better than for us to pet him! He even likes kisses! *** Update 10/31/12 *** Sebastian passed all his health tests with flying colors! He is also tolerating our kitties and vice-versa. As far as we are concerned, we are satisfied with their relationship. So, Sebastian is officially a part of our family now!

Hi Furriends,
Today we are celebrating my birthday! It's a very important day with it being my parents' 20th wedding anniversary and Earth Day too. That's why they picked this day to honor my birthday, with it being special and all.

Tonight I was sitting on my dad's lap and so was Midge, and then I reached over and groomed Midge's head! Mom couldn't believe it! Just this morning Midge was chasing me around the living room; she was hot on my tail. MOL Now I'm grooming her. Go figure! :)
