Arrival Story:
My cat Colleen had passed away about a month ago and I was missing having a little fur baby around. I went over to the Elmbrook Humane Society in Brookfield, WI and looked at kittens. I was noticing how friendly the little black cats were and fell in love with this little one. Here original name was Queen which I didn't want to call her, but she will certainly be treated like one.

Meow, Meow, Meow!

I know what everycat is thinking, long time no update!

I've been very busy and so has my secretary/meowmy. First off, she went back to school in the fall for Graphic Design. I've been her little assistant helping her with her homework. I even got to go to school with her one day and be the subject of her Studio Photography assignment. The result was pawsome and she has a copy of the photo she took of me hanging in her living room along with a photo of my late sister Colleen and other family photos.

Oh and I'm sure everycat will think this is very exciting news. I caught my first mouse last September. It was a field mouse that made it's way into our house somehow. Meowmy was too afraid to go after it and I seized the opportunity. I caught it, killed it and hid it up in my bedroom or so meowmy thinks. As all of a sudden she did not see the mouse and she saw me lick my lips like I had ate it the day she caught me chasing it, so she figured I got rid of it all. Well, about a week later meowmy was up in my bedroom cleaning my litterbox and she noticed something that looked fuzzy. At first she just thought it was one of my toys, but then she looked closer and it looked really gross like a dead mouse. Meowmy promptly disposed of my kill and told me what a good girl I was to help get rid of her mouse problem.

Last, we have our condo up for sale and meowmy and I will be moving back in with Grandma and Grandpa until meowmy finishes school and is back in a stable job situation. I've been over to Grandma and Grandpa's house a couple of times during showings of our place. Grandpa enjoys playing with me and I love the attention. I'm sure I am going to be a Grandpa's girl once we move back. Next to my own meowmy, he is my favorite human. Grandma is pretty nice too, just not as much of an animal person as meowmy and Grandpa.

I will try to post more often soon. Meowmy/Secretary will be done with her first year of school in a couple weeks so she and I will have more time to post updates.

Meow with everycat later!

Staycation Went Well!

First off, I want to thank the Diary Gal for making me a Diary Pick while I was on staycation. Secondly, I would like to thank all of my Catster friends for sending me p-mails, rosettes, and messages congratulating me.

As for my staycation, it went very well. Meowmy picked me up yesterday around 4 pm at the Animal Doctor. Staff said I was a very sweet kitty, which meowmy could have told them. Meowmy also told me that she had something for me when we got home. She brought it out and it was a cute little Black Leopard that she bought from the National Tiger Sanctuary. Meowmy said that was the highlight of the trip for her.

Hope everycat has a great weekend!
