ON COLLARS AND BOAS

I don't like collars even though they are pretty and/or cool looking! I get out my "bitey" teeth and attack them every time. Betweem my biting on said collars on Sunday, Mommy managed to get a couple pics of me wearing them. She told me that I won't be wearing them all day long and they were only for photo shoots. Thank goodness!

As to boas, Mommy pulled out one from a bag and put it on top of me. I wouldn't wear it. I wanted to play with it. In fact, I grabbed the boa and started to pull it out of Mommy's hands. We had a good old game on tug-a-war with it. I hope she brings out that boa again!

Also, I licked Sampy's toes after he licked me on the head. His tongue tickles! I bet I ticked his feet too! MOL!

Lastly, we've getting nice sunny and warm days since Friday. They called for t-storms yesterday and they never happened. They're calling for them again today, and so far, nothing! Good!

Well, I must go now.

BUGS WITH LIGHTBULBS ON THEIR BUTTS

OMC! I saw the weirdest bug on the outside of the bathroom window screen last night! It was glowing on and off like a lightbulb was stuck to its butt! I told Mommy to come to the window and asked her what in the world was that silly looking bug.

She informed me it was called a lightning bug or a firefly whichever you prefer. They come out before summer starts.

I was pawstruck to say the least and hope to see more of those cool bugs in the future! I never seen one before as I wasn't born yet and didn't move in with Mommy until late September.

Speaking of summer,the first day will be June 21st. The day after, I will be one year old! Can you believe that? I'm so glad Mommy adopted me from Last Chance Animal Rescue from PetsMart in Laurel, MD last September. Bailey Gray was adopted from the same place but in Greenbelt, MD in 2005.

Anyway, I have several new pics to add to my page. They're already loaded but have to be moved to the first page.

Well, I got to go now as it's bedtime. I can't miss my beauty sleep.

FOLLOWING IN SAMPY'S PAWSTEPS

WOWIE! I'm following in Sampy's pawsteps. Today, I am one of the Diary Picks! I extend my concats to Sampy for yesterday and I also thank the Diary Gal for honoring us both this week!

I also thank my following friends for their kind concats and gifts:

1. ANGEL BUDDIE & Family - pawsome pawmail;
2. GLEEK - cool comment;
3. SMILEY CASSANOVA - pawsome pawmail;
4. MILO BLUE EYES - cool comment;
5. XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS & Family - lovely red rose & cool comment.

Also, yesterday and today have been summer-like reaching 90 degrees. It wasn't as sticky though. Mommy has the ceiling fan in the dining room going and another fan along with drawing the blinds. It kept it nice and cool for us. Mommy doesn't turn on the AC unless it goes over 90. If we can get by with fans, it's great as it helps keep the electric bill down.

Anyway, I got to go and let Mommy finish getting ready for work.

Purrs & Breeps,

Joss
