I am not happy at all, this morning I protested and protested cause I was the only one that didn't get to have my breakfast, I didn't understand why I wasn't being feed.
Well I soon found out, Mom put me in my carrier and let me tell you I went crazy in there, I almost knocked it over luckily Mom had it attached to the car seat belt. I MEOWED AND MEEEEOOOOWWWWED all the way there. I even figured out how to open the zipper some and I got to stick my head out. I was much happier...now I couldn't get completely out cause Mom had me attached to my carrier...she thought thank goodness otherwise I would have been all over the car.
Mom had to drive while it was sprinkling so she couldn't keep tending to me, but she had to put her elbow over the zipper.
As we got closer all of a sudden in the clouds Mom saw a rainbow and she immediately knew it was a sign from Tallulah to let Mom know that she was going to be with me and would be holding my paw. I saw Tallulah she never left my side till I was once again with Mom. She told me she will be checking on me through out the night. She even sprinkled some special angel dust on me.While I was under Tallulah and I had fun spending time together she even showed me her beautiful butterfly garden, but then it was time for me to wake up. She gave me angel kisses and a hug then flew back to heaven.
I kept all of the Vets and Vet techs entertained while I was there, I was purring and MEOWED before my surgery and then later just purred.
So I am doing OK, they asked Mom if I had the runs before I came today, she said no, so they think I was so stressed it caused me to have the runs...Mom has to keep watch and make sure when I go again that I don't continue to have the runs. Mom has medicine so she will give me some later so I should be fine.
Mom brought the hard carrier for me this afternoon, it is bigger and I can't get out of it like the soft one. I was happier cause I could see out and I got to rub on Moms fingers. I am home again what a relief.
Mom put me in my big cage cause she knew I would run around and jump, so I now have to stay there until later. She gave me a small amount of food, boy was I hungry, I really could eat more, but Vet said only a small amount at a time till tomorrow unless I throw up then just water again...so far so good.
Mom let me out so I could walk around a little and the first thing I did, yeah you got it went right to my incision and started the licking...Mom grabbed me I am protesting again! guess what I now have to wear this funny looking thing around my neck the dreaded collar, what do I do I freak out and run all over, so Mom put me in my cage, that is where I now, I guess I need to stay here for my own good..think I will take a nap I am so sleepy.
I have pain medication I will take for a couple days, the vet said I should be fine by then...I also got my microchip put in while I was sleeping...Tallulah told me it is like a piece of rice and it will get me back to Mom if I should ever get out and lost...lets hope that never happens...
Thanks for your purrs for me...now I must close my eyes and dream again...Mom is so happy I am OK and I am now home where I belong.
Oh we knew you'd be okay, we just had a feeling Kody. So glad it's all over with and you're home now. Sweet Tallulah is so wonderful to have shown you beautiful rainbows and butterflies. Now be good! MOL, I know, but I had to say it anyways.
We don't like those collars either.
We have several different ones...I think the blowup one is the best you can't reach your stitches...but you can see well and you can move in it betters...but it will soon be off and you'll be out of the cage...back to yourself in no time!
Sending our Love, Hugs, Kisses, Purrs and Prayers to you and your family.
Love, Kibbles and family
I'm so glad you're home and safe. Just rest and sleep. It will be better tomorrow after you get to eat more.
Glad all is well, youngster! I had that snip-snip thing so long ago that even Mom can't remember exactly how I handled it. She does remember that I was still pretty woozy from the anesthesia and she had to leave me in the carrier for several hours because my back legs weren't working so good. I do know that they didn't do the Elizabethan collars way back then, and they didn't do pain meds either. Vets have come a long way.
Glad you are home and doing purrty well, considering..and soon you will be just like nothing evfur happened!
One good thing to know...um...you will nevfur have to go through that snipping thing again! MOL!
Glad you are back home and recovering from your surgery! What a long day! That little rice thingie is a good idea but don't try and go outside to test it out! Mom wants to get one for me just in case. Hope you feel better very soon and are back to purring!
